I save Tammy’s videos for bedtime. My husband died in his sleep 4 months ago and these videos make bedtime easier. And tonight , she brought back happy memories. He was a retired Presbyterian minister and the church that he was serving really had good times getting together for a special party at Xmas time. In 1973 I had sampled this cheeseball at a tasting party and loved it. So I decided to make it for the church’s party. Same recipe but rather than chopping finely the onion, the recipe called for maybe a Tablespoon of onion flakes soaked for a few minutes in water. But what I liked about Tammy’s is adding the chopped pecans. The recipe that I used so many years ago, the cheese ball was rolled in those expensive nuts. We have got a tropical storm tonight in my part of Texas and came to bed kinda tears eyed. But this sure cheered me up. Happy memories.

Hi Tammy! This recipe is a big fav & has been part of our holiday tradition for like forever! My grandmother made this cheeseball during the holidays. I remember she would save the pineapple juice and use it as part of the liquid in making a gelatin dessert. She never wasted a thing! Thanks for sharing the recipe & for another video, y'all!! 😊

This is an oldie but goodie recipe that we used to have at parties and showers. Does anyone remember simply putting a block of cream cheese out with pepper jelly poured over the top? We ate it with crackers--now that was an easy and delicious dish!
@darleneiglehart66054 жыл бұрын
I have made this for years. Always get asked for recipe. A few years ago I made it and took it to a birthday party. I didn't make it into a ball, just mixed it all up and put it in a bowl. We set it outside with some club crackers. Went back inside to get other items. Came out and 4 guys had eaten every bite and went on and on about how good it was and said to give their wives the recipe. When I told them it included pineapple the guys raised their eyebrows and one said...I don't like pineapple but I loved that dip!
