4 cups of chopped Ripe pineapple pieces
Sugar 2 cups
Method:
Chop pineapple into small pieces, transfer to pan , add 2 cups sugar
Bring it to a boil, sugar melts , keep stirring allow the pineapple to cook with the sugar.
After about 10 minutes the mixture begins to thicken.
Keep stirring on a medium flame.
The pineapple pieces are now cooked.
Keep going until bubbles are seen around the pan.
The jam is now ready.
Notes:
The consistency need not be thick for this jam.
Since it has no preservatives store in an airtight glass bottle and use within 15 days.
The jam hardens if u allow the sugar to get really sticky.
