You have mentioned Caster sugar, can regular powdered sugar do instead. What changes will it bring.

As a homebaker according to me I have never used caster sugar always used powdered sugar and it comes out really well so nothing change comes u can use normal powder sugar

Check your baking powder or soda and also u would have done something wrong in beating eggs so be careful and repeat the same process as shown in the recipe trust me this cake I have tried and came out sooo tasty and fluffy
