Pinapple is my favorite fruit and it is the only fruit that can adapt to different foods so easily. You can put it on any meal and it will match well with the meal. I enjoy having pinapple not only on pizza, but on hamburgers too together with some sweet chille sause

The only time I’ve had pineapple on pizza was from dominos and the pineapple was mushy. One day I’ll put fresh pineapple on pizza and give it a chance. But the one time I had it I didn’t like it, but I wish I did. Edit- I have had fresh pineapple on pizza and I can conclude- it is wonderful. It’s not my favorite, but I enjoyed it very much.

Pineapple on pizza is very bad on it's own, but with other stuff it's goes well with it. Because the acid that cause sourness is absorbed by the bread and other stuff, and it's just like putting lemon juice on steak

The acid in the pineapple is denatured when you cook it. If you put raw pineapple on an already cooked pizza, it probably wouldn't work well.

Meanwhile people are happy eating generic cheese pizza. I HATE that cheese is the go to thing people will order for events. Who actually likes a topping less pizza. Peperoni alone is passable. (And no, I don't care about vegetarians. Most are Vegan and can't eat cheese anyway, and the few that can do not make up NEARLY close to half of any given group of people, yet people always order half cheese half peperoni pizzas.) Should at the very least be 1/4 the order is plane cheese for the boring people.

i personally think the sweet-and-savory idea of fruit on pizza is a good one to experiment with, and i don't really mind the juiciness, _especially_ if the fruit is baked _with_ the pizza. but pineapple is _not_ the fruit to go with. you need a very specifically sweet pineapple for it to truly work, in my opinion, as most of the pineapples i've had have been quite acidic, almost sour. i don't know about you, but i'd rather something a little less sour. if anything, it should be _normal_ apples on pizza.

The reason I dislike pineapple pizza so much is because you cannot un-pineapple a pizza. With a pepperoni pizza, if you don't like pepperoni, you can pick off the pepperoni and you'll generally be fine and not notice. Same with a lot of stuff like mushrooms or sausage, etc. As long as it's not buried deep in the cheese, you're good to go. With pineapple though, once it gets baked, the dough absorbs the entire flavor of the pineapple. You can pick out all the pieces if you want, but the pineapple's spirit will be in there, haunting every bite. Same with anchovies, but nobody likes those anyways.

so, as every kid does at least once, i made a weird food combo. some are bad, some are good, and some are eh. i decided to have peanut butter and balogna sandwiches. yes, peanut butter and balogna sandwiches. i have no idea how i came up with it (i don't like it that much anymore, i just don't like peanut butter) but anyways, my cousin and my brother said it was gross (they had a point) but they had never even tried it before. so one day i was on vacation. we were on vacation and my brother was hungry, so i made a pb and salami (we didn't have balogna, but it works just the same). he ate half of it before i told him what it was, and then he had the audacity to say it was gross. he was like 7, and he ate HALF of the sandwich. i don't know about u but it takes a 7 yo a while to eat half a sandwich. he had that whole time to say it was gross, but no, he conveniently "waited" until i told him to say it was gross. then i gave it to my mom, she liked it too. so he cant say that it was gross bc he had the time to say it was gross but didn't bc he liked it. i said earlier that i don't like peanut butter anymore, and that is bc 1 its too dry and 2 it is too thick and sticks in my mouth. also not liking pb means i also don't like pb&j. i also don't like ranch, on anything. i also don't like hot dogs. i stopped eating them 5/6 years ago, and when i decided to try it again last week i got sick and threw up (also i didn't like the flavor or texture either). u might think I'm a picky eater, but I'm not. i am open to a lot of foods, i just don't like the typical "American" foods as much. like i love Japanese, Chinese, Italian food etc. anyways, sorry for the people who read all the way down here, but comment your weird food combo that u made, good or bad. I dont understand the hate on pineapple on pizza but I just don't like the taste of pineapple pizza due to pineapple making the pizza be full of pineapple juice and with fast foods the only thing that should make things soggy is grease mainly because it doesnt wear off the flavor of the fast food or make it too soggy but i think pineapple juice does both of that to pizza therefor i dont really like pineapple on pizza but i dont really understand the hate on it.

The fruits belonging on pizza is tomato, olives(Not red), pepper of any color(Not really red), and not pineapple. The sweet of pineapple doesn't really work with the meats like bacon and pepperoni, and it's not that good.
