I totally agree with the cost gripes. I mean, I think the pineapple vintage line is very nice and the ingredients used in them are high quality but the price hikes are ridiculous and it makes these cost way too much for clones. Pineapple intense is now 85 bucks for a 50ml bottle 🤦🏻‍♂️. I stopped buying from them because of the outrageous pricing

I purchased PVI when it first came out at $80 for 100ml. Sadly my remaining 50ml has developed a skanky note. The fruity top note is gone. The refrigeration tip did not help. I do store it in my dresser in my bedroom, so storage isn't the cause. I'm hesitant to buy PVI again. I do plan to pick up Emperor as a replacement.

Thanks for the honest review(s) because I’d of your reviews, ok your wife’s inputs helped I made my first and second purchase from parfumes vintage. The first getting Pineapple Intense in the 50 ml and some samples and the second order XBatch in the 50 ml and with their holiday promotion two assorted gift boxes so friends can also try their products. Your videos got me interested in trying some medium higher quality perfumes. While I have accumulated a fairly long list of items I really want to try mainly from your videos but also from other videos in the same category, the ones I seem most interested in trying at the moment and wouldn’t mind getting as a Christmas gift are Zoologist, which I have sampled some and Imaginary Authors.

Not so many reviewers talk about Aventus anymore. Instead more about Explorer, Club de Nuit intense and these PV clones. Haven't wore Aventus myself for months, but Explorer from time to time.. I would like to get Valentino Uomo Noir Absolu from Santa because I have been very kind this year. Have never smelled that fragrance either so it would be a complete surprise

I recently received a bottle of Intense Gold (my first PV purchase). I really enjoy the scent (especially the intense/sparkly musk) and longevity is staggering at 15+ hrs on my skin. I agree however: it's overpriced for what is is.

I’m interested in receiving this fragrance and entering. I’ve sampled it and most of the house and the quality exceeds some of my designer fragrances. I don’t view this house as a clone house although i know that’s what they do. They are a great alternative in quality to the originals. A similar cologne that clones a popular fragrance is Porpora by Tizirini Tarenzi. It’s my one and only wish for Christmas! And I’m happy to say I purchased it for myself last week for half the price of Portrait of A Lady, yet the ingredients have similar quality. They are both amazing but Porpora is a cheaper alternative if you want POAL.

Ashton is awesome, although I respectfully disagree. It certainly has the same DNA obviously, but there are clear distinctions. Gold clearly has much stronger white musks, lacks the birch, is very syrupy and one dimensional - better in cooler weather. PVI is lighter, more complex, more birch and much better suited for spring/summer. That said, I also don't think you need both. I prefer PVI and Vanilla Intense. I want Xerjoff Richwood for Christmas👍🏾

Haven't had a chance to smell any of the Pineapple Vintage line from Parfums Vintage. Picked up Evolution de L'homme Soir after watching your review, and have really enjoyed it! Had my bottle of PVI around 2 years now, wore a couple of times recently and noticed a slight sulphur accord to it in the opening that did eventually disappear, dont know what was happening there 👀 You know something, I wouldn't purchase a new bottle of PVI or PVIG at the new prices, I would invest in a bottle of Aventus👍

This is a crazy Christmas wish, because it's been discontinued for over a decade (it was the 2007 summer scent for men), but I would love to receive/find Escada Sunset Heat for Men. It wasn't my first fragrance buy, but it was the best. It was my signature scent for about five or so years, until I couldn't find it anymore. I've been "chasing the dragon," so to speak, since I stopped being able to find it, and despite having well over 100 fragrances now, nothing has ever gotten me the compliments or been as recognizable as "my smell" to other people than that fragrance (aside from maybe Tom Ford Soleil Blanc). and I've yet to find something as pleasant to my own nose as that scent. That starfruit top note was incredibly unique, and nothing I've found has captured that vibe perfectly, or even really gotten close.

Im a fan of the house PV but your right, they're increasing their prices and it's not worth it for a clone. If your in the FB groups instead of 100ml of emperor you can get at least 50ml decant of the real deal aventus for that price and maybe even a 60ml decanted for you. I will admit some of the clone I do like better than the original. The bleecker St. Clone with the amped up blueberry note is much better than the original. So I guess as always you should smell for yourself and determine what scent you would be happier with at what price and go for it. I'll take my chances with the giveaway. Im hoping the mrs his me a initio frag for Christmas. Preferably rehab if your reading this love.

Yea my PVI 5ML decant has that funky body odor type vibe in the opening. Smelled like a rotten Pineapple 💩🍍💩🍍 which is why i never pulled the trig on a full bottle got skeptical despite all the Praiseee and hype it got.
