Thanks for the video on the fence. We may switch to that next year. The deer love our sunflowers and tomatoes.

Informative yes. Decided on a garden due to the current wacky world we live in. I'm on 10 acres, half wooded where the house is, half unmaintained hay field. Deer run about 20' from my house down the length of my property. Lots of other wildlife.

Same! We've been enjoying that garden this year. Picked a huge watermelon yesterday....so awesome!

Garden soil definitely takes a lot of time to build up to be awsome to work!

Nice setup. I didn’t fence around mine this year and I can’t keep my chickens out of it. 😂.

@@PineyGroveHomestead we will still get enough to make our salsa, but they nipped several plants when they were young…

Brad: Poly braid, electrified with solar fence charger. Support netting with clothesline wire the wire is coated, it doesn't stretch like rope, attach clothesline to post with turnbuckles, hooked over a hook, turnbuckles for occasional tensioning Dad had a low wire that he kept the ground beneath wire wet; a squirrel with tail up walked under the wire when shocked the squirrel did not know which way go, funny scene.

I do want to install something more permanent, but for now this is cheap and easy!

I thought you were saying "hog grain" for those clips you use? I haven't got used to your Florida accent. I'm in Missouri. :)

I don't know that I have an accent as much as it is that I can't talk!! Thanks for watching!

Human hair works best. #2 Ivory or Irish Spring Soap. I found out that my neighbor puts this out by my deer stand. Every year we have lots of deer come to our feeders, and game cams, until about a week before the season opens, and then no deer for months, until after the season. After 7 or 8 years, my hair barbara shop told me that my neighbor has been putting hair by our stands for years, so the deer will go to his stands, and not ours. I looked around, and found hair balls in the trees, and on the ground. We wasted thousands every year on feeders, feed, ext.. see massive bucks all before the season, and come deer season, No deer.

It doesn't surprise me anymore what people will do for a deer.

Yes hog rings, rings one puts into a hog nose , some women put rings in their nose to show they like to be led around like a hog.
