I just tested and ordered my LST today. Felt good. Standard set up but with a draw setting to start with. Got more length with same club head speed as my, now, former driver.

Interested in this, In the past I had an old burner then the spin trackman and spin was focus, my burner was average 3,500 spin changedto ping g30 ls tech, then went round the doors tried, m1 m2 and the rest.... Ended up going back and hit a g ls tech. So very glad they came out with this....

Tested the Callaway Epic, Titleist tS2 and 3, Cobra F9 and M5 and 6. This wins for me. I get why people wouldn’t like it, but thats the importance of testing. It was between this and the F9 ultimately, but I found that dead spot too Mark that you said people weren’t talking about enough. Thanks form your reviews! Great as always....helping the buyer and the guy who wants to have fun just get more enjoyment!

I just purchased the G410 3 wood and it is the most forgiving, easiest to hit and launch 3 wood I've ever used. I already own the Cobra F9 driver but Ping has me thinking about that 410 driver!!!

Just tested this bad boy today and was very impressed. Got about 8 yards over the TS3 on average with the Rogue Silver 60 S on both. Problem is I’m still playing the 913 D2 with a Project X 7C3 on it and it is performing as good if not better than the TS3 for me. Hard to justify spending the money for 8 yards.

Great video. I switched out from a lower spinning driver because of the massive drop off on mishits, but I'd be interested in trying the Ping. Lester was great! He might need to switch to decaf when he appears in future videos though. :)

Mark another good video. My only criticism with the Ping Drivers and for that matter the rest of the newest drivers, is the shaft length, which I think is too long. My driver which is a Taylor Made R15, I found the shaft too long, so a professional cut an inch off the shaft, now I like the feel and shaft length. You did not mention price, the Ping G410 driver will cost about £400. How can the club manufacturers justify this expense, your comments would be greatly appreciated. Charles

I currently have the 410 plus and my average spin is 2200 2400, so im perfectly happy in staying put. As for you, I think the LST should be in your bag the way you hit in the video

I'm for sure not a golf Guru such as yourself but i thought the strokes gained off the tee was basically about hitting it the furthest you can. So wouldn't you want a low spin driver since they produce your longest drives? I know when I step up to hit my shot I'm not worried about spin and if it will be a no spinner and come up short. I hit thinking I'm going to hit it in the center of the club face you know. Or am I completely way off base? Thanks Mark for all you content and hard work we really appreciate it.

I demoed the G410 back in the winter. This was done inside hitting into a net. The Ping rep said I was getting good numbers on distance, and I found the club to be very forgiving. However, I do tend to spin the ball to much. I believe my average was around 3200 back spin. My question to you Mark is it worth my time to demo the G410 LST to lower my back spin and get a little more distance? Also, I’m concerned that this low spin version would be less forgiving since it has a smaller head size. My handicap is a 12. I would appreciate any advice you have. Thanks!

Mark do a comparison v the the st190 g Mizuno , I’ve recently put the Mizuno in my bag from having the old ping g lst and the Mizuno is just an animal in comparison , both 9 degrees and x flex and I’m finding my dispersion is much tighter with the Mizuno , also I’d say the Mizuno sits equally as open as ping lst

andresd11 SLDR is the longest driver ever made. Unfortunately also the most unforgiving. They go hand in hand. The CG in the sldr is so far forward it’s crazy low spinning.

Love the bid brah. I had the g400 lst before but got the g400 max now. wouldn’t consider the low spin again personally i dont think its worth it for the lack of consistency which i get from a marginally higher spin. i keep getting tempted with the TS3 though so may have to give it a try. I don’t see too much improvement from the G410 compared to the G400. not worth the upgrade in my eyes. be interested in hearing your opinion.

Anyone else notice the tour pros are mainly hitting high spinning cuts with driver, I think these low spinning drivers can get you into trouble if you can’t control the flight...ie 30 yard roll out into rough or worse

Too bad that PING delayed the release of this driver - I'm not going to test it as a result since I just make a purchase decision for a new driver last month and the regular Ping G410 was too spiny for me compared the M5, Epic Flash Sub Zero, and F9 competition.

Because PING don't release clubs if they arn't sure it outperforms their previous models, the G400 lst was so good that it took them longer time than the normal cycle to develop enough performance to beat it. I LOVE PING for this, they are so honest and genuine towards their customers like no other golfing company. Of course the regular version and the lst will share most tec, its not ment to be a completely different club just a lower spinning version of it.

Lst great for your low handicap player like yourself and up to 8 or 10. I play off 15 and I struggle with low spin drivers just don’t seem to see the difference in numbers

You don't need to be a low handicaper to play lst, it has nothing to do with your hcp, its your delievery that determines what driver is best suitable for you. I would argue that LST actually suit higher handicaper very good in a lot of cases because a big big tendency people have is delivering to much spin with the driver, caused by either hitting down on it or leaving the clubface open at impact.

So I went back to your sldr review. You missed the center and got a 14.8 degree launch with 1300 spin and still carried it 262. Why are you drifting back to thinking you need more spin again?
