Just a few missed details: On the top of the big jacket pocket is a small zippered pocket with soft fabric inside for phones and other stuff like that and on the bottom of the ball pocket is a grab handle to easy carrying or putting into a car.

Matt, so glad I watched your video this morning! Great recap! I have the Sun Mountain C130, which I love, but it's BIG, and HEAVY! Really looking to buy the Hoofer! My question for you is, when you put it in a riding cart, do the double straps get in the way of getting into your bag?

Hey Jim! Glad you enjoyed the video. Yeah I used the hoofer this entire year and loved it. No the straps don’t get into the way at all. I’ve never really thought about it but I’ve never had an issue with the straps getting in the way!

Hey Matt. Love the new bag. I'm currently using the TaylorMade Pro 8.0 Golf Cart Bag which I bought from Amazon back in 2021. Its a nice bag with everything I need, but I have been looking at stand bags lately, as it would be nice to have that alternative to carry around shorter courses.

Nice ! Yeah you have a solid bag! I noticed when I would go to the range or I’m just getting settled at the course I missed not having a stand bag as the cart bag could be risky to fall over. Not sure what I’m doing with my old bag but might keep it as an alternative like you! Thanks for the comment BA!

Is your hoofer still holding up? NO issues with club entangling?

Hey thanks for the comment!! It’s holding up extremely well and is still very clean! I did about 30 rounds this season and take it to all my lessons and practice lessons. Love the bag. I’d say if you get more than 4 clubs in a section it can be tight but otherwise zero issues!

I love the look of it (even would like to try the 14) but there's so many bad reviews for club entangling and mangling :( You're one of few that's making me rethink the negativity. Thanks for the review - I'll be reconsidering the Hoofer (again), and potentially returning the Nike Lite for it... but I shall contemplate very hard about whether it's worth risk putting my brand new i525 and other new ping clubs into it@@punchedgreensgolf - I may put in 5-AW, D, 3W, 52, 56 and maybe a hybrid) (12-13 clubs), so if i do hopefully it will be okay.

@@hermannkim Yeah I had read that but honestly didn't have an issue. I just make sure to not overload each compartment and its fine. I think 3 per section and then 4 on the bottom section for my wedges and putter is how I have it set up. Really don't have an issue getting clubs in and out fast. If I put something back in the wrong pocket I do have an issue. But the layout, functionality and look of the entire bag more than make up for that. Worst case bring your clubs to a store and try it out before you buy one hahaha. Yeah I have 15 clubs in it, (don't tell anyone) a 5 iron and 5 hybrid and have zero issues. It is the best bag I've ever owned and nobody is paying me to say that. Good luck!!!

@@hermannkim Hey can't hurt to try it! I got mine at Golf Galaxy and they usually have a decent amount there to at least try it out. I think you just gave me another video idea! You as well!

You can’t go wrong with Ping, try some Ping clubs, you won’t be disappointed….. I am a biased Ping Fanatic… all Ping for me.

Yeah I’m really impressed with the quality! I’m actually in the market hopefully next year for new set and Ping is at the top of my list! Now I’m just torn between getting fit which I’ve never done or buying something off the rack

Not big on the Ping irons, but I have a full set of the Ping Woods (400 series) and after 50 years of playing golf, I have never found an easier driver, fairway wood, or hybrid to hit than the Ping line! 👍⛳
