I love using my pinhole as you dont know what your going to get when you develop the film ,dust it off mike and get using it .

Fuji acros or ilford delta 100

Stephen, what do you use for development of Acros? (developer, ISO, temperature of water and time.) I have tried D76 1:1 but blew out my highlights at about 10 minutes at 20C. I noticed your highlights here were well controlled. I have some more Acros, but don't want to waste it since they don't make it any more,.

Hi Steve i use Ilford LC29 dev mixed 19mls to 500mls of water at 20c development time is 9mins agitated for 30secs for the first minute then for 10 secs every minute till 9mins as elapsed ,lc29 is designed for fine grain film like acos 100 .

@@roachbasher I would have thought DDX to be more appropriate since it is a Tgrain developer. Thanks, I'll look into LC29.

Steve H hi Steve I use lc29 as i used it to develop delta 100 with that being a fine grain film I found it worked well with acros too

Nice interesting vlog. I've just taken a Noon PH camera out for the first time today. A bit confused about the time conversions. It was a very bright day and the meter was telling me 125 at F22 which converts to 1/4 of a second. Seems a bit fast for a pinhole. Even in bright conditions? And how do you judge or even manage a 1/4 of a second on a PH camera!

Hi Stephen, I've just got one of these camera's, I put a roll of film through it shooting 6x6 format and using the 6x6 window to see the film frame number it's out of register, there was about 40mm of film unexposed at the beginning and half of the last frame was cut off. I think the film lines up correctly using the 6x12 window for 6x6 format and vice versa, what has been your experience?

Did you put the back on the correct way i have do that got it the wrong way round and had my film not lined up properly .

How do meter the light?

Hi Barry i use a app called pocket light meter, you set it on F22 then meter the scene you are shooting take the reading and with the chart that comes with the camera eg if time for F22 is 1/30 the resulting exposure will be 7 secs , i am in the process of making a vlog about this .
