Pinhoti Trail Terminus Loop!

I headed up to the Cohutta for my birthday weekend and camped at Jacks River Fields. I had wanted to take the South Fork Trail and part of the Benton MacKaye up to the northern terminus of the Pinhoti then work sobo on that trail and back to the campsite as a loop. I met a fellow at the campground who was interested in hiking so he and I headed out on the roughly 7mi loop. Beautiful weekend and good company!

lol No the millipede was sitting on it or eating it. I didn't know they would do that. Maybe he just came upon it and didn't want to go around!
