Such a cool boat. Love it. Good luck for sea trials!

Those are some interesting looking props! The hubs look they are a size down from the gear case which would allow exhaust to blow around the outside of hub. Maybe that’s why they work with so much pitch for that boat. Cool to see something different and looking forward to the next video.

Looking absolutely ace, polished up a treat. Can't wait to see your next video. We're taking ours out this coming Thursday, first trip despite it being on the water for 3 1/2 weeks 😢. To date getting the tides & the weather right has been impossible here in the UK.

Directly below the front fly wheel on the raw water cross over tube to the heat exchanger there should be like a M14 drain plug. I removed that and installed a Fumoto valve which allows most of the raw water system to drain after you flush it. This will help longevity of components like the oil cooler which is cooled by raw water and has no anode protection. Just ensure you reclose the valve before next underway or you will fill the engine bay with water.

Sir, Please please reply to me if you're able. I know you are busy. I'm really just trying to understand the large hydroplane black boat hydrodynamics. Can you tell me if the sponsons sit level with the 'flat' contact patch on the rear? If so, how much contact flat sponson (or level with the transom patch) did you have? in feet? Also, how big is the actual contact patch on the rear part of the boat, near the transom? If i am thinking correctly (I know you have deadrise), but if sitting on completely level ground-- the contact patch (no dead rise?) at the rear is a couple feet, and it sits flat on the ground (if you will), level, with half or so of the sponsons?? (I know sponsons have deadrise, Im just referring to the parts that would sit flush with the ground. The rear contact patch, and the sponson patches. Please, reply. I Emailed you as well, Id pay for the reply.

Hi Chris. Most likely, we will be heading in your direction & will grab a spare mooring in the harbour you keep yours. We will only be out till Lunchtime as we've got to get back before the tide goes out. We will keep an eye out for you.

Hi, I did email Chris but had no response. We did meet up in my/Dad's Portofino XPS 25 & he said that he got my mail. We had a run up the Solent together & I took some photos & video of his boat. I did email the photos but did not get a reply despite him using one of my photos on Ebay when he was trying to sell it!! I was pleasently surprised when we had a bit of a race my/dad's boat was faster despite only having a single 5.0L Mercruiser MPI 260HP!!
