A friend of mine mentioned there was a 1956 Caddy Sedan Deville rotting away in his grandmothers garage. And that it was PINK! Well Duff and I couldn't pass that up! Lets see if we can get this thing back on the road after 50 plus years of sitting abandoned in a 2 stall garage! Sorry guys but this one is already spoken for. I do still have the engine and transmission however if you need a core 365 OHV V8.

You stuck with that so much longer than I would have with that motor. However, you outdid yourself with the Puddin appearance and to top it all off, a pressure washing. Thanks for making Monday mornings so enjoyable. I hope this car doesn't make you lose the shop.

That Caddy has as many peculiarties as a nympho nun, a real chamber of horrors ! How did so much water get in the pan with engine buttoned up ? As for the block, given the missing freeze plugs, it's likely cracked. Oh word is me !

There are definitely some experts out here but I'm not going to say anything🤣.I've seen too many KZbin know it all guys, one of them was telling me not to use or he couldn't use a ohm meter on a coil, he just takes the coil and throws it in the corner and I thought what a baby. But he broke out his own meter to test diodes, and I thought what a hypocrite not mortski some other dude. that had a KZbin channel and thought he was God, he is very smart but he's not God. have a good day too bad that Cadillac was stored like that. I told him you can use a battery and a light bulb to test dials where do you use a ohm meter only when you want to .🙄

What a shame this cool old car wasn't stored in a concrete building with a dry floor and roof, I guess nobody at the time thinks clapped out old motors are gonna be worth something in 50 years! Love your videos and am always excited to watch a new upload, you put a lot of your sense of humour and personality into your videos and they are very entertaining. I think I've watched nearly all of your back catalogue by now, I like how you show the entire process and how you are honest about how everything goes, it's like we're along for the ride with you. Look forward to future videos, keep up the good work, and tell Duff he's a good boy from me!

You are made of patients and NOT a swear word passed your lips. You are an example of endurance and tolerance. I do NOT have skills anywhere near yours and I would have quit about the time you discovered how bad the Wheels.. Keep up the great work. I also admire your love of animals and the way you make time for your beloved dog. What an example to others you are . CHEERS and keep up the great work.. Sean Fagan. Ireland.

Too bad Mortske 😞, a 56 Caddy Hardtop in pink no less. As usual you gave it your all. Yes it was in a barn but Mother Nature made sure her goose was cooked. And who throws a bag of salt on the trunk lid of their car. 👎. I’m sure you were hoping for better outcome. Thanks for the vid Mortske n Duff you always entertain.

Keep this trick I devised years ago for the future.. Try this... Heat the plastic tube from the carb cleaner spray with a lighter (about 1/4-1/2 inch from the end. Then pull on each end of the tube to stretch it. This makes the outer/inner tube diameter smaller and more of a pin point. When the melted plastic solidifies, use small wire clippers or nail clippers to snip the tube at the smallest diameter that still provides flow when spraying. The cleaner comes out like a pin point pressure washer and the shrunken plastic tube end fits inside whatever port your spaying thru. You can also do the same to create 90 degree angles in the plastic tube to spray sideways inside long venturi tubes. I used to make/keep custom tubes around for these situations. Hope this makes sense. BTW.... Great videos.
