hey man, I like the way u think of this! Here's my take according to Buddhism's philosophy: Well there might be some higher selves of themselves helping them make decisions, but themselves did most of the works in their current life time, and they must have spent so many time together in past lives which made them gather around to create Pink Floyd in this life, so in some sense the PF is meant to happen

I also had the pleasure to meet some of the members when they were on tour with a momentarily lapse of reason tour. I also was able to get David Gilmore’s autograph on the comp tix from the show. I have enjoyed PF from the 1970’s. I was on a train traveling to London as was able to recognize the factory where they had hung the 40’ pig from for the album cover shoot. I also just found this website and saw your comment too. So, like your posted I too now have incredible memories from the PF shows I was able to experience as well. Cheers mate.

Thanks to the Pink Floyd group for my Happy Soviet Childhood! And I am not ashamed to say it. It was Pink Floyd and some other similar rock groups that once brightened and diversified my everyday grayness and one-sidedness of this world with their bright and new colors! We in the USSR loved to listen to you, although not on original records, but many had cassette and reel-to-reel tape recorders. We borrowed from each other, exchanged, copied... That was real happiness: to find and record a new album of your favorite group!

I was on Collegre when Wish You Were Here and later Animals was released. Animals is easily one of my favorite albums by them. Pink Floyd never stopped producing killer music during the 70s especially. The Wall was the last of their successful runs ...as The Fimal Cut sealed their fate and led to Waters exiting the band. I'm a Rock n Roll Animal ...for me Jimi Hendrix was the GOAT , then Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd. The 3 greatest bands and rperformers of all time. I listen to these 3 everyday ...as they all have a vast library of killer music albums . RIP JIMI & RICK !!! Jam on

Many thanks this is brilliant. Saw them in 1977 when they came to the Anaheim Stadium wow I went with a bunch of chicks. We had a shortage of good looking guys. I needed some help. They were all gorgeous young ladies. It was great. Had a great time many thanks.

What an album! This may be David's best playing, and that's not taking anything away from TDSOTM. Love listening to this an a great system cranked.
