Pink Floyd is a must for me every day along with Led Zeppelin. Never boring and always gets better with Time if that is even possible. Worldwide phenom's.

Anything from the Pulse concert is amazing! David Gilmour is an awesome guitarist, and the second guitar solo played by Tim Renwick was great, too! I suggest checking out the song 'Sorrow', also from the Pulse concert, if you haven't already.

If you had been there you’d know why the crowd appears motionless, I can tell you that PF was at that venue ( Earls Court ) for 14 nights the capacity was officially 19k but actually got to 22k per performance.

was that why part of the stands collapsed like 30 seconds into one of the perfomances?

Pompeii is good, but it has so much studio overdubbing that calling it Live In Paris (where the studio dubs were recorded) would probably be more accurate. There's not much of it (if anything) that is actually 100% live from Pompeii (that said, PULSE also has studio overdubs, but nowhere near to the same degree as Pompeii has. And at least with PULSE it is actually possible to find a 100% live version if you really want to (it was broadcast live as Pay-per-view, and obviously that doesnt have any overdubbing, so it's possible to find torrents and stuff of that))

back in 1994 when this concert was held many of the fron row audience were seated to both accommodate special spectators; audiences back then didn't scream and yell and make the musicians hard to hear.

It's ironic and hilariously ignorant that you should say that, because audiences being rowdy and noisy and screaming and yelling is exactly what lead to the creation of The Wall in the first place and thus this very song as well. People were literally setting off fireworks at their shows in the 1970s for christ's sake. Roger famously spat on an audience member during the last show of the 1977 tour, and prior to that he had repeatedly been calling people who were setting off fireworks "cunts" and "assholes" (seriously, listen some live recordings from the US leg of the 1977 tour, especially towards the end of the tour, it's hilarious). To say that audiences were "so much better behaved back then" is idiotic and ignorant and simply untrue. And it wasnt just Roger being annoyed by it either, even David has said that "before Dark Side, you could hear a pin drop during quiet parts at our shows. After Dark Side people were screaming 'Money!' from beginning to fucking end!"

A nonconformist band criticizing the conformism British education system ironically conforms to the late '70s disco trend. Producer Bob Ezrin suggested Pink Floyd incorporate disco elements, and despite guitarist David Gilmour's initial dislike, they adapted. Gilmour recorded a solo, retaining Pink Floyd's sound. Ezrin believed the disco version could be a hit but wanted more verses and choruses, to which the band, resistant to releasing singles, replied, "Go ahead and waste your time doing silly stuff."
