Gdzie byłaś gdy byłem wypalony i załamany Gdy obserwowałem zza okna mijające kolejno dni Gdzie byłaś gdy byłem zraniony, osamotniony Bo otaczają mnie wciąż rzeczy, które zrobiłaś i powiedziałaś Podczas gdy Ty zawierzałaś swe życie cudzym słowom Śmiertelnie pragnąc by wierzyć w ich treść Ja wpatrywałem się wprost w oślepiające słońce Zagubiony w myślach, zagubiony w czasie Gdy ziarna życia i ziarna zmian zostały już zasiane Na zewnątrz deszcz, padał ciemny i powolny Gdy ja oddawałem się tej niebezpiecznej, lecz nieodpartej rozrywce (wpatrywania się w słońce - przyp. tłum.) Odbyłem boską podróż poprzez naszą wspólną ciszę Wiedziałem, że nadszedł ten moment By zabić przeszłość i powrócić do życia Odbyłem boską podróż poprzez naszą wspólną ciszę Wiedziałem, że rozpoczął się czas oczekiwania I skierowałem się prosto... w kierunku oślepiającego słońca

Well, the good thing is that this song will always be consistently famous. In every generation, there will be people like you and me (I am 19) who will listen to this song and sway their heads with it. There will be Biebers and PSYs, but only songs like this will stand the test of time. You know why? These songs talk about something that has actually happened in your life, a rainy day that really came to your life. And as long as there is life, people will listen to these songs.

I remember the very first time I heard Pink Floyd. About two years ago, me and a couple of my relatives were sitting and watching the sunset in the Swedish archipelago in the beginning of the summer. My uncle puts on this song on a portable stereo and I remember how I my mind just went blank, I knew this was the best I have ever heard in my entire life. Now, Pink Floyd is my life and I will never stop listening on their music, I hope more discover them like the way I did. Sorry for long post.

Anyone who listen to Pink Floyd music, always anxious for the guitar solo. Pink Floyd would not have existed or shall I say survived without David Gilmour !!! He is after all the guitar sound of Pink Floyd, and for me and many others, the moment we have been waiting for in almost every song of the Floyd. THANK YOU DAVID GILMOUR !

At this point in my life, I can relate to every single line in this song. It's beyond me how anyone could dislike this. I cant imagine a day going by without getting my Pink Floyd fix and proud to say that my 5 year old son request that mommy put them on. I think that as long as the human race exists, few bands can or will compete. Immortal, they are.

We should count every time Pink Floyd was being listened to on Vinyl, CD, Radio & concerts from the 60s until today, taking into account that theese guys filled live concerts with absurd huge audiences, managed to be high ranked in the charts while the beatles, zeppelin, clapton, straits and a lot more all-time-super-hero-music-heavyweights were right next to them on those lists. If youtube existed 3 decades earlier and everybody back then had a smartphone -> counting views would be legit.
