Tre, the lyrics in the first song, "Take It Back", are brilliant. At first glance the song tells about a broken relationship, with a vendicative lover that could seeks her revenge. But in reality the song is about the environmental pollution and, in general, the man impact on ecosystem. The betrayed lover is the Earth itself!

My Pink Floyd journey was backwards from this album. So noone will tell me this is not a great album. Were there better? Hell yeah! But this stood out in it's own right for me.

For me Keep Talking is probably 2nd best on the album behind High Hopes. I love its atmosphere, rhythm, vocals, and the experimentation. And of course the Pulse performance is incredible.

The guitar work on "Take it Back" is similar to U2's guitarist The Edge. That is why it doesn't sound so much like Pink Floyd. Still a great track, though. My favorite is "Coming Back to Life".

A fine counterpoint to Keep Talking would be Alex Lifeson's Shut Up Shuttin' Up, from his solo album Victor. I don't believe I've seen anyone reacting to music from this album. Or indeed Geddy's solo effort, My Favorite Headache. Both must hears for any Rush fan.
