Agreed although their first record produced in 65.wasnt great. I could understand why labels didn't want to sign them on. But came their 2nd record with Syd barret astronomy domain. Incredible. Followed by sauceful of secrets. Their music got increasingly better as the decade progressed. When 70s came they were on fire like no other. Atom heart mother. What a journey. Meddle short and sweet. Building us up to the dark side. Every succeeding record after was a trip not to be forgotten.
