Goosebumps all over. RIP Richard Wright, you were SO MUCH of this band's sound. And how about Candy Dulfer coming in for the sax solo?!? AMAZING. I'll say it, and people need to join me in saying it: David and Roger NEED TO GET BACK TOGETHER BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE. The ego war has to stop, and bygones need to be put in the past. Nick knows it, but there's only so much he can do.

Sad to say the 24 wonderful minutes we got at Live 8 in 2005 are going to be it. Bands have a shelf life and we found out all too painfully that PF, Led Zep, Cream had their limits. yet we have other acts that don't know when to retire like KISS and Motley Crue. It's too late. All we have are whats recorded that will have the do. All we have is their mortal remains.
@MattyK-USA5 жыл бұрын
@@floundergearjam Geez man, you and Mike are bringing me down! 😢🙂🤞 I'll keep my fingers crossed just in case... Great point on those that don't know when to stop. Roger had a chance. Why didn't he swallow his ego and join the other guys in Syd's tribute concert? It wasn't a big flashy venue, no big-ticket names, no worldwide attention: just the lads back to honour Syd. He could have joined everyone (not just Dave, Rick and Nick if he felt uncomfortable with the awkwardness) for 'Bike' but he didn't - why? He had to pick his girlfriend up from the airport. Rick was dying FFS! I know Roger wouldn't have known that but, as recent events in my own life have made painfully clear, the forces of life and death are unrelenting and they have no time for petty squabbles or fragile egos!
