Listen closely to the bass line in another brick in the wall. It sounds a lot like the bass line in Living on a Prayer from Bon Jovi. Maybe they heard it and stole it.

well living on a prayer didn't come out till 86 and these recordings were from at least 1978 so it might just be that Roger Waters and Jon Bon Jovi are both musical geniuses

This is the Band's first demo after Roger's exclusive demos. So I think that on the piano it is Bob Ezrin because in the early days Rick just wasn't physically there ... and after that he seems to work at night at different times than those of the others.

Because these are very much only Roger, before band had really much input, and Roger was basist so it is only natural that he at first put much work into bass I guess

Probably it is about how people just think that musicians are machines or godly excentric people , and that idea makes Pink feel isolated from the rest of the world

The band was already feeling a disconnect between the audience and themselves before The Wall, Roger especially so it wouldn't surprise me if it was directed to the fans who didn't care for the message.
