Hi Fam, this is not an excuse for my poor editing skills in this video. I have been trying to film for a quite number of days now but it’s been so poor (I’d get so emotional for trying too much and not getting the quality I want). I managed to pull this one up. I hope you’d enjoy it still. Lots of love from your baby girl.❤️

I was 17 in 1975 when I first heard Dark Side of the Moon though I heard of Pink Floyd. When I sampled tracks from their early stuff from the Syd Barret years, I didn't get it. I thought it sucked. It was all weird sound effects and didn't have any foundation to it. Unfortunately, Syd took a little too much acid in comes David Gilmore, undoubtedly changing the sound and lyrics to create the most incredible tracks ever recorded. I believe that Comfortably Numb was a tribute to Barret.

I went to see Pink Floyd for the first time in 1973 when they were touring the Dark Side of the Moon at the Empire Pool, Wembley in London and I can vividly remember Time being performed - I can see it in my mind's eye even today as a 61 year-old bloke. Dark Side of the Moon is probably the best album of all time; a masterpiece with extreme longevity in the charts, which is testament to PF’s multi-generational appeal. It’s a real fillip to see a young woman discover this music for the first time. You have a wonderful, expressive and yet gentle soul. By March of 1973 what was up till then the, "Drug subculture ' had become part OF the culture. These songs were designed so the listener could experience an out of body altered state. Even when the listeners mind was 100% clean. The songs were longer than most 60's songs and created an almost hypnotic frame of mind. Now for the individual listener under the influence of hallucinogens well, each 'trip' was different. Depending on their mood and location. So I've been told :-). But you Mo, are always 100% lovely, no matter my mood or location. Please stay safe, RNB

The different live video versions are awesome and really capture the essence of the live shows. Loved momentary lapse. Gilmore on Guitar, the keyboards and the lighting take this amazing music to another level if that's even possible. I saw PF a few times in the 90s, but once in an open Coliseum while it was raining stoned off my ass. (No one moved an inch, show never stopped. We all knew how special it was). Watching a flying pig with laser beam eyes piercing thru the rain creates a whole new experience. One day we will all recall these moments with even more freq due to Covid. Sharing a human experience with thousands together.
