agreed. Just pulled this up on KZbin search to make a point in a conversation of what this song is truly in relation to. I cant even name my favorite FLoyd album From Animals to Wish You Were Here. I actually do have a favorite Floyd track, which I would think is the same as many old school Floyd fans: Bicycle. You are still missed Sid. Wait, whats that? Whos David Gilmore? OH right right. Hes that vocalist Roger Waters brought in for a bit right? At a show of the few years back Dark Side of the Moon tour, we were "lunatics in the grass" behind assigned seating. I had to PEE SO BAD!! Everyone else mezmoreized Im walking through the crowd completely focused on task at hand. I did not even know they had launched the big Pink Floyd Pig, much less that the started to lose control of is, say like right where I was walking down main big isle separating assigned seats from gen admition. RIGHT in middle of this otherwise empty walkway, ALL EYES directly on this, the pig COMPLETELY blindsided me as it totally crashed ON ME!!!! Didnt get hurt or anything but imagine being there at that exact time in a ''Pink Floyd State of Mind". and the FREAKING PIG CRASHES ON YOU ALL EYES ON YOU WHEN YOU HAVE TO PEE SO BAD!!!!!! The story is now legend in the Tampa Bay area.

I first heard this album in 1976 through headphones, and it was so amazing i still remember it. Pink floyd can do whatever they want w their music...BUT this album takes me to happier simpler days n the REMAKE is so 2023 a time i am constantly looking to ESCAPE from. Just my opinion probably a few may agree. 🌍💥💥💥😭

Have to confess it took it's time replacing The Wall as my #1 PF album. After having owned it on every possible medium, it was when I got the vinyl copy again after decades that it's full scope dawned on me. And it replaced The Wall as their #1 album. Every one please do your self a favor and get a vinyl LP copy of this album. It's mind blowing. ❤

@@Jay-do2dl try some )Hawkwind sometime.maybe The Chronicle of the Blacksword kzbin.info/www/bejne/fIqVm4eZotGsnaM altho Floyd will always have a special place for me (i remember skipping out of high school to buy my 1st copy of The Wall on 8 track lol) Hawkwind is a whole 'nother beast and there are many many more albums that make The Wall pale in comparison

As long as English is spoken, these songs will be enjoyed for centuries to come, hopefully millenia. This song in particular had to be divinely inspired to remind us of our imperfect nature.

If you've ever got the time and know how to contact her again, explain why it hurts, wether she becomes your friend again or Nott I'm begging you to atleast let her know how you feel about her departure from your guys friendship, it may hurt but atleast you'll have the closure of knowing you told her

This reminds me of my late friend Laura...she's the one who introduced me to Pink Floyd in high school and we went to their concert in 1994 at the Silverdome in Detroit- they played this album front to back. Such an amazing concert! ( I remember using an actual paper map getting there lol). Great memories. Miss you Laura! ❤❤❤❤

I love this album. I have bought it every medium it was ever recorded on and released. Likewise, I will probably buy it again as well. The LP wore out and got very noisy to play, it was played so often. The tapes eventually tangled. The CD was loaned out and never returned, he died, and I didn't have the heart to ask for it to be returned! I bought another, it was damaged when left in the car on a very hot day!
