@oraesempre183nembo7 жыл бұрын
Waters sang several songs from The Wall, but the best of the album are sung (and written) by David ... The Final Cut is actually a solo album. It was already decided on the separation. It's a too introspective album to be considered a group work, and they were songs discarded by The Wall just for that reason ... As to singing or not Floyd's songs, just see solo tours: dave sings all the songs Of PF, Roger, not ...

THE WALL IS REALLY A MASTERPIECE OF ROGER WATER WOULD YOU AGREE
@fonz0215200112 жыл бұрын
My favorite images from "The Wall" would have to be, without question, the "lock-stepping" hammers from this very song. Don't know what it is about them exactly that I enjoy so much, but I can never get enough of them. The raw power and apparent unstopp-ablility (is that a word? if not, pls submit to Webster lol) of those hammers is entrancing. Beautiful! :)
@nodnoc962710 ай бұрын
Agreed :) Beautiful and terrible at the same time. The image is meant to convey the same emotion as the fascist symbols. The imagery terrifying and I hope we don’t have another totalitarian regime that rises again

@wickedcurve This was filmed at Earl's Court in London during the wall tour in 1980 - most likely as part of the test footage they shot back when they intended the "Wall" movie to be a combination of live concert footage and live-action drama. I could be mistaken but I'm pretty sure that's where this is from and not the American or German performances that came later. (It was never intended for release).
