In hindsight because Gems usually poof when they take enough damage it makes sense that Jasper would be unfamiliar with the minor sensation of pain humans feel all the time, like hunger for example, especially for someone like Jasper who is durable enough to rarely experience significant pain

I didnt even think about the fact they're both scarred and went through alot physically, so it makes sense that their fusion is a mismatch of human and gem that doesnt look right, but is right

Omg they are so cuuuute. They just need to get a hold of their new form and I'm sure they will be an awesome fusion. Steven and jasper just need more time. It sounded like onyx was fully aware she exists and had a single voice until they kind of broke apart and started talking to eachother. With malichite, she never got to really exist because jasper and lapis just combined their body's not their mind. So malichites body got to exist but her personality and mind didnt. And I feel like jasper might be trying to do what she did with malachite without realizing it? Or steven is just being a push over cuz he really wants answers? Either way they need more communication for the fusion to function properly. And it's so cool seeing how this fusion is different with them having control over the sets of arms. I can't wait to see what happens next 100/10

I’m already loving this AU and it’s only the first 2 parts… I AM SO PUMPED RN! I rly love the interactions between Steven and Jasper while they’re fused, really funny moments in there, and a bunch of many other things that I like to add but I won’t type them out because this supposed to be a comment, not a 22-hour Collage Essay. There is so many thoughts relating to how much I absolutely enjoy this but there is so many I can’t even think on where else I can take this! Props to the chef that cooked up this amazing AU!

This is... interesting? I'm curious I really am, but I'm not sure what to make of it. I don't ship these characters in anyway, but this AU captures their personalities so well. I... I'm perturbed by my interest in this comic series as much as Steven was perturbed that he shattered Jasper... I'm also mildly confused, because I never would have imagined this occurring in the show. It seems realistic enough, sure, but the thought never crossed my mind. That and jasper is known to be a toxic person to fuse with. Steven also doesn't really have a great relationship with Jasper at all, its dangerous... But I must say all that curiosity has gotten the better of this massive Lapis fan, my mind is scared but I just need to know! I've only ever been like this once before. So disturbed and triggered by something yet intranced at the same time. Oi, I might just need sleep. But sleeps for the weak. Why does this happen right when I re enter the SU fandom? Why can't I not be an obsessive weirdo? Let me enjoy multiple things mind, and also don't attach to things that weird you out gwahah...
