Thank you for the video. I am a sentimental person. If for whatever sentimental reasons, you want to do this, I say go ahead. But first make it a roller. Clean it, then make it a rolling vehicle. That is get it to where you can push it pull it around. Then, at that point, decide if you want to go further. No matter what you decide to do with this truck, keep up the good work.

That is just like the first truck I drove when I was about 13 years old. It belonged to my uncle. Good find 👍

Parabéns direto do " Brasil" ...

Perfect example of how not to ever use a chain to pull . Putting a chain around a trailer ball is a leathal mistake. While they can have tons of tensile strength, they are not made with sheer strength in mind. One jerk from a strap or chain can sheer off a tow ball where the stud meets the bottom of the ball . Sending it like a Canon ball, no fn joke . One went through a rear window then through the back of a head rest and kept going right through the back of a young woman's head and through her face, killing her dead in an instant. Broke out the front window and splattered the whole cab in blood ,hair ,bone and brains. JUST NEVER PULL OR RECOVER USEING A TOW BALL . If you don't belive it, call any trailer ball manufacturer.

Cost an arm and a leg getting it done right. No value in this. Everything is rusted beyond salvage. Better projects out there.
@speterson7712 жыл бұрын
@Mike Raffphone It's true. By the time you replace all the cancer in it, most likely by replacing all the fenders, doors, body panels etc, there is too much time and labor put in trying to cut out the spots and putting in new. Fenders alone will cost you at least 900 a pair and this truck needs way more than just fenders. If it is being built for resale and I was the buyer, I'd run away fast. How do I know all of this? I'm building a first series 55 GMC that is in wayyyy better shape than this. Must have really deep pockets to fix this one up, but then again, to each his own.

@@speterson771 Sentimental value. Especially if its a low mileage rig. some of the body panels dont look too bad either.
