More people should plant these lotuses. The aesthetics alone is reason enough, but some have amazing fragrance, ornamental pods, delicious seeds and edible rhizomes. Although the flower doesn’t last long to be used in decoration I’ve seen beautifully preserved lotus blossoms on sale that are used in wedding decorations.
