Pink salmon fishing from the bank 08/03/2023 - Kick off 2023 pink salmon fishing season in PNW

My gears:
1. 9ft6 ML fishing rod : amzn.to/3pydPYH

3. 12 lb mon line
4. 3/4 oz "Pink drunker" - I am still testing this one, will be in production at 2025 pink salmon season.
Pink salmon come back to Puget sound and rivers in west WA every odd year. They show up along the beaches of Puget sound first, and then, when it's raining, they will migrate into rivers to spawn. Pink salmon are much fresher when they are still in the salt water. I was fishing at the Lincoln park in west Seattle, and it's crowded all day long. It you don't want to fish with that many people, bush point is good spot for pink salmon fishing too.

Nice to know that Lincoln park is good. I have thought about coming up there recently. I usually fish browns point because it's close to home but as I'm sure you know, Area 11 is close for salmon right now. I've been going to point no point though which is very beautiful. Maybe I'll try lincoln soon

A pink jig with a twister tail works well 3/8 oz jig head fished slowly back or even a spoon like a gibbs croc, 3/8 oz.
