I can personally comment on this topic. Where I ride there are plenty of exposed roots and large rocks. We have lots of rock gardens, too. If my rebound is set to high it will buck be off the bike right onto those roots and rocks. Doesn’t feel good falling in a bed of large rocks. So the best advice I can give is ride that bike over those rock gardens over and over. Each time adjusting your rebound until the bike doesn’t feel like it’s trying throw you off like a bucking horse. Word to the wise, this does take a LOT of patience and time to get it just right. Ride on!!

Absolutely agree! У меня пока очень опыта в правильной настройке двухподвеса с воздушными амортизаторами. Пару недель назад ездили по крупным камням с настройкой "какая была" и на низкой скорости по-ощущениям все нормально, но разгоняясь получал сильную долбежку по рукам и "под зад". Три раза останавливался замедляя Rebound. Потом, по приезду в город протестировал на большом бордюре (10-12 сантиметров) и более мелком и в зависимости от настройки ощущения мягкости при съезде с бордюра и заезде на него отличаются. Долго искал баланс настроек, чтобы эти ощущения уравнять. Поясню: это получается ощущения от того, как амортизатор отрабатывает кочки и ямы.

I don’t know why riders are disappointed because Öhlins makes very good suspension products. They are up there with Fox.
