Job looks great man. I own a paver company on the space coast and we offer sealing at the time of installation. I've been in the game for 16 years now. My only suggestion is to invest in a better sprayer. SMK and Seal-n-Lock makes one that fits on top of a 5 gallon bucket, 25ft hose and 20v dewalt battery. Game changer. Keep up with the good work man.

I’m going to attempt to pressure wash and re-sand her driveway. As far as the sealing goes does a regular pump sprayer from ace work and also do I need to look into getting a specific tip to attach to the pump sprayer wand? What ratio or brand sealing should I use for a shine wet look. How long does my grandma need to not walk on or drive her car after I’ve finished the sealing of her pavers?

How often would you have to reseal to prevent weeds?
@PinkFlamingoPowerWash2 жыл бұрын
The sealer isn't going to stop weeds. Lots of times weeds grow from from something simple as a seed falling onto the joint and then gets wet and sunlight then boom a weed grows. The sand and sealer slows it down but definitely not going to stop it. The sealer is to protect the pavers, the sand is mostly for stability and slowing the growth of weeds. Manufacturers recommends to reseal pavers usually about 2 years.

Hey good job. I’m currently struggling to get rid of weeds growing out of my pavers, I don’t think they were ever sealed. Do you service Orlando orange country area??

I see people using spraying technique and I see some people using a roller technique when applying sealant. What's the difference? Is one technique better than the other or are the results essentially the same? TIA! 👍
@PinkFlamingoPowerWashАй бұрын
I think it's a preference. I don't like the rolling technique as 1. Sand gets onto the roller and 2. You won't get as much sealer into the pavers cause you can't flood them.

What PSI is your machine? What do you recommend for standard homeowners doing their driveway
@PinkFlamingoPowerWash10 ай бұрын
Mine is 3500 PSI. For a home owner I would go with something like this but to clean driveways get a little surface cleaner. Whats your best technique for removing triangles? day 2 day we use the broom to sweep it into the joints and remove most of the sand then come with the blower.... the only thing with the blower is that you sometimes blow to much out and then you blow some sand into another part and form triangles on another part of the driveway... Ive sealed, and have seen brick pavers sealed with sand on top of the pavers and its a headache...
