Love this reaction. Chris had such a wonderful voice. He has this ridiculous vocal range that lets him go into the stratosphere, & his early stuff is a lot of that stuff. But from Temple of the Dog onwards it's like he realised that just because he has that choice to go there, it doesn't mean you constantly should. & because of that he used his baritone a lot more & sometimes would build to a high note which was a lot more effective & would blow you away when it arrived out of nowhere. Sometimes he wouldn't even go for them notes anymore because he didn't need to. He was never a one trick pony, he was diverse, & a fantastic songwriter. His voice was just so beautiful & perfect, it had such a tender, warm personal feel to it. ❤ Need more Cornell reactions in my life Mona. Live cover of Billy Jean is super special. 😊

I don't really care for such emotional connections like such, much more into technology and science, I don't share my personal space with a greater audience, I just don't get the need to for such social addiction, it could be that I am only child and if you don't get used to being on your own you probably go insane, and for 70% of the time I now prefer it. Also love should be reserved for those people you deem special enough, not giving out like some cheap product. People like to over-do the racial divide, the biggest divide will always be thought and that we never change, and nor should it, people shouldn't be clones and actually differences normally breeds progress as-well as competition which normally drives up performance. Basically, I am not one for pie in the sky thinking, normally has no substance to it.

@@devilmanscott Wow man, we totally live the same life i think. I always say, good music, transcends all the barriers we put up. Age, race, religion, nationality, gender, etc.. good music, is good music period.

Excellent video! We're with you girl in your reaction. My eyes were welling almost they whole time. Prince, RIP, was an awesome songwriter to have thought this up. Imagine the tears he cried writing the words? Sinead O'Connor did the song equal justice with her rendition. However, Chris's (RIP) voice, probably the best premier rock voice, EVER, brings it to a whole new level. It's like he knows how to bring those emotions out (he probably could relate) and gets deep into your soul. Chris wrote all of his songs from Soundgarden to Audioslave to his solo, but also brings his own style to well known covers. Another cover he did was Michael Jackson's Billie Jean. There were so few things this guy couldn't do. What they are, I don't know. His song, "Sunshower", is another one of those great lyrics and evocative lyrics. The world lost a great voice and talent when The Lord took him home.

I feel blessed and lucky to have lived in this generation and to have been able to experience Chris's talent. Amazing voice and amazing song writer/performer.

Chris Cornell vocals were so full emotions it took to places of thought and self reflection i could never imagine i could reach. React to I am the Highway best song to me from Chris ever!!! Just in another level of how you feel every word and be able to apply it to a moment or place you have experience in your life.

I had to listen to the new song in bits Friday night for that same reason. Finally I went at it with a couple beers, lol, and got through it. It's so beautiful-- but I wasn't ready to hear it.

One of my favourite vocalists of all time. You should listen to his version of Bob Marley's Redemption Song. So good.
Yes. He sings with his daughter, Tony, on that song.

What you just descibred about Chris Cornell is exactly how those of us that love him feel about him. His voice is visceral and spiritual. There will never be anybody like him ever again.

Haven't listened to Chris Cornell's music since his passing - found your channel and struggled with you to get through it. Love your channel, love your empathy, just dig you. Cheers.

Thanks for doing this one. I've been devastated since his passing. Nothing compares to him. Have you ever listened to Seasons? If not you should, it's one of my faves but Like A Stone is my fave of all his songs. I believe you are an old soul my dear. I'm not sure how old you are but you "get it". What you said about his voice evoking emotions is so true. And musicians write the soundtrack to our lives. Some people don't get why I cry over a musician passing like it was a family member. It's because they are. The music is there every day, to comfort in all ways. When we need to cry, sometimes hearing a certain song will offer that release. Sometimes we are angry and we need to hear Metallica, haha. I'm sure you know what I mean. Love & light.💫✨💖RIP Chris & Prince. P.S. I am curious what you would think of the band Ghost. Over the past year I've become a huge fan. They did a cover of Here comes the sun by the Beatles and if you search you'll find the live in Liseberg version.

You sweet girl you were right when you said that was an experience. One does not simply listen to Cornell you experience Cornell The first time I heard him do this song I sat on my bed and sobbed. There is something about his voice that touches my soul and I cried watching your reaction because I knew you felt it too
