Y'all talking about white privilege, when Asian folks make the highest average income in the U.S., even above white people. They also have a much higher college acceptance rate than white people, and are more likely to be picked for higher paying positions above anyone else. This movie made me cry. Not because of the movie itself but because I am class of 2021. It made me realize just how much I am missing this year and how much those memories meant to the story of Lara Jean and Peter. I agree. That dad is goals! He is just trying his best. And I felt so bad for Peter the whole series - not because I feel like LJ did the wrong thing or shouldn't have prioritized what she wanted to do - but she should've been upfront and talked through everything with him. I love that she still went to NY to pursue what she wanted and he did, too. I also love that Peter accepted this wasn't about him eventually and that he didn't force sex. It was just a wayyyyyy better series than Kissing Booth - so much heart.

The TATB universe is amazing so too, they manage to bring more serious things in a simple and light way, we are happy to watch. I confess that I cried with this movie haha, I will miss them forever.
