Couldn't sleep so I decided to look for some inspiration bc I will be moving to my very 1st home next month (can't wait). So I was browsing through some vids until I came across your room and vanity organization and I must say I love it! I saw the previous and the one before this one. I thought for your pieces of decorative accent furniture is excellently affordable and I never thought Ross would be the answer--especially the mirrored drawers! Thank you!! Aww, you are a doll! I think it would be awesome to decorate for a living. What's funny is when I was growing up I use to rearrange and organize my mom's stuff constantly, like everything... picture a little 8 year old pushing beds, sofas, tables around, organizing and reorganizing for hours haha. Hmm just reminded myself what a lonely nerd I was lol. ;D

Love what you've done with the place. You definitely have an eye for detail. Personally, I wouldn't bother looking for a headboard. What you've done with the lights above the bed is genius. Oh totally forgot to mention that! We got that at Costco, it was basic black and we painted it Tiffany blue and used a rag to smear the paint to give it a more worn look.

i love your icicle light headboard. i put a string of little white lights over my daughter's windows for years that she loved, makes the room warm & cozy. she found different colored ones to switch out her favorites-pink and purple. now my daughter & i will try your icicle idea on my granddaughter's bed !

I love the icicle light, the table lamps and the cute little palm trees decor. I didn't know you had a chimney in your bedroom, how lucky! One suggestion, if I may would be to get a white bedroom door to match the decor, would really look so much better in white than current brown. If you're shopping for headboard, I hope it would be a plush, luscious white one.

You did a great job! Do you find it comfortable enough for your legs working at your dresser to do makeup? Do you use your small light up mirror closer to you? It's the same set up furniture wise that I'm using but I feel claustrophobic with the dresser blocking my legs and trying to reach for things with the little mirror in my way since it has to be up close to see myself properly. It's a simple human magnifying lighted mirror. My chair is also a swivel barstool so I can twist my legs to the side. I'm looking for a vanity with lotsa drawers but legroom under. I just love your dresser and how you painted it with the white and the soft blue toned sides. I like the curtaims puddling onto the shag rug and your salad bowl, belt, airplant display and chandelier! Your room is gorgeous like you, and very inspiring! Thanks for sharing... 🙏💕👌

the flowers that you have in your vase look like the seed pods of the honesty flower. Its a pspring/summer flower that turns into a flat white seed pod in the early Autumn, we get them here in the uk -they're usually dried and used for decoration. They're really pretty.

So so nice! You've created such a cosy place of pretty much just a few walls with almost no doors. You are very talented designerwise! The colours, the way where you placed everything (furniture & decorative pieces) - just adorable! I guess I would have put the workout bench more in the direction of the blue couch (if it doesn't disturb the harmony of the living room/bar area. I do agree - nowerdays it's really possible to be creative without spending a fortune on f.e. Jonathan Adler stuff.

Great room! Be proud that you did most of your shopping from Ross. I worked for one of the top home staging firms in the SF Bay Area, staging everything from eichler homes to huge estates and I will tell you that much of our accessory inventory was from Ross. The owner was known to drop 10k in one trip power shopping. You did good! Take a look at Jane Seymour's 'Hollywood Swank' line of Bedroom Furniture, it's right up your alley.

I used to do that too. I also used to draw houses on graph paper and draw the floor plans of where to put the furniture; ie: 3 end to end squares were couches, 2 squares for loveseats, you get the idea. I guess I was a nerd too.

My bedroom is similar to ur old one and the rest if the house is beach themed!have u ever considered ur white 'shutters/doors' as a headboard?if u distress them a little which I know u two are reall good at , it would match ur room perfectly.and mayb u can find a shell tassel or some sort of other decor u cud hang in one corner of the headboard ... I can imagine it would look great in ur room... x

Your money tree as you call it is a flowering plant Lunaria annua, called honesty or annual honesty. It has white or violet flowers and when ripe after it has dropped its seeds and dried it looks like yours. They grow a lot in Europe.
