Wow! How majestic is that? Simply stunning. ❤ Oooh, interesting caves. Deer and squirrels too. Ok, so what did you have to eat at the very start? Looked lovely, and a lot safer than the exploding egg!. And, what was that huge pile with the bird sitting on it? 🤔 Take care and I'll catch you in the next one 😃👍

Hi Jaune! I’m going to catch up on you today, before I go off and leave for another week. 😉 I loved this side of the park. I had to watch the beginning again. It was chicken teriyaki and white rice. DELICIOUS. 😊

Great views on this hike, Annette! I enjoyed this side of Pinnacles more (except for the condor sighting on the other side).

Thank you Nanci, I agree with you on that one. It’s time to leave this atmospheric river and go to another park I think. Stay dry over there! 😉

hey Annette, I love the country music at the beginning. I love seeing deer in my yard after the sun goes down. Not able to get pictures of them though. I just noticed I bought the same Carhartt hat color as you. I bought it last week at Lowes. Getting cold out here, but I love it, so far. Watch out for eggs burping. I hope you were ok!

Aww now you can do all the snow angels and keep your head warm! Who knew eggs could kill? 🤣 Enjoy your cute deer friends. 🤗

Haha we’ve got plenty of deer 🦌 here, but yeah they’re cute, (until they eat your garden). Trail looks nice and well maintained. The further you go the smaller you feel. The Chalon people inhabited the area prior to the Soledad Mission. I’d let Michael explore the caves for us. 😂 very nice video.

The deer are adorable. They don’t come into my garden so they’re still cute to me. 😂 I did not know that about the Chalon people. Thank you. I’ll have to look that up. 😊

I liked this one better, but idk why? All your time calculations and math -- mathin' makes my head swim like story problems. I'm glad you're that person in the group, like naturally gifted, so I could just relax w/the clouds! Lol Couldn't believe you were done after half a day!? How did you keep your hands from getting banged up, holding on to all the boulders and rocks?
@AnnettesVanTease
@AnnettesVanTease 22 күн бұрын
There wasn’t a lot of holding onto rocks in either hike. Sections but mainly flat walking or steps on the East side.

How easy/hard is the hike up to the cave. Can a semi-out-of-shape 75-year-old make it ok?
@AnnettesVanTease

Hi Ted I actually looked this up the other day for you and think I fell asleep. 🤣 It was a very easy hike, easier than the East side. You can just do the cave, it is 1.5 miles to the cave entrance. When the trial forks go to the right to go to the cave. If you take the left trail it takes you to the cliffs then to the caves and it’s about an extra mile with an incline. All ages were hiking both sides.
