I pass this place everyday while going to school on the bus
but it cant be, because some of the elephants have cords around legs to neck so not to run, what kind of orphanage is this??? and WHY is a human riding on one of them ????which looks sick to me and again cords around neck and legs, wtf is this??? or is it a cover up story to say its a orphanage but what it REALLY is is a money machine again for tourists?????????? they cant talk but theres us who talk for them and try to change their lives to really TRULY help them, protect them and LOVE THEM

Do your research b4 you mouth off, the chains are there 4 a reason and are not tight or hurting the elephant. And i doubt the elephant (2000kg-4000kg) will even notice a man weighing 70-80kg on it's back. Are you gonna complain about horse riding also??? Stay in your western world dear!

I'm not agree with your opinion. as a Srilankan I know how they treat to the Elephants. They are look after them very well. Do you know that It's name Pinnalawala Elephant orphanage, that's the place we give treatment those who are injured in jungle. Please think twice before you submitting this type of comment of social media. ❤🙏🇱🇰
