I must thank you for the Wayfaring Stranger backing track you sent me a few weeks ago. You're such a talent and I envy you. To take an old folk song like that and turn it into a modern acoustic classic is really something.

Another home run Martin my brother. I just love your smooth approach and your comfort along with a seamless 6th sense about what and where to go. Couple all of that with your feeling you have and it is perfect. Thank you so much for being public with your efforts. I wish we were neighbors so we could play side by side. Peace brother. thanks again.

+Art Doyle Hi Art, thank you! Oh, I have so many... Over the years, you know, they come and go... In some kind of chronological order, starting from when I was a kid, I could mention Chuck Berry, Dave Edmunds, Eddie Van Halen, Tim Pierce, Dan Huff, Mike Landau, Paul Simon, Sonny Landreth, Göran Söllscher, Paco DeLucia, Vicente Amigo, Manolo Sanlucar, Jerry Reed, Brent Mason, Tony Rice, Bryan Sutton, Tommy Emmanuel and many more, of course. I hear great players all the time :) How ´bout you?

Nice! I've got a partscaster that would be really up your alley Martin. I found a guy from Canada on eBay who has Telecaster necks 1 3/4" wide at the nut made from Rock Maple by someone in Korea. Great for fingerpicking needless to say.
@tallstrom8 жыл бұрын
+St. Hugh Thanks! That sounds interesting... I´ll do a search! The Tele in this video actually has body and neck from Allparts, and Fender p-ups and mechanics.

Martin Tallstrom KZbin is weird; sorry about the link. You can find him singing it by searching Doc Watson Wayfaring Stranger. Doc was a well known & Well loved musician from the mountains of North Carolina. Boone NC. He had a haunting deep voice. He was blind. Sorry if you already know who he is.
