Gotta hand it to you, knowing how much time setting up camera shots adds to the job, you stuck to it. Kudos! Makes you wonder if someone you know, perhaps in the shop (!), was the lone thumbs down... Good work bro!

Thanks for the piece of cardboard on 21:59. I thot one bolt is missing on my bell house. Bolt with nut- tranny dipstick bracket, two top left with brackets - breathers for transfer case, tranny harness and fuel lines.

so much for the days of "simple" engine swaps, unhook exhaust, fuel, half dozen wires, unbolt trans/converter engine mounts and go, maybe the hood. now, you start at left rear tail light work towards the front right across, diagonal to the left rear and repeat 12 times. there's far too large a divide between, design, engineering and mechanical departments. anyone whom works designing automotive should have minimum 3 years hands on in service departments, including the bean counters and management :)

throttle bottle While that may be true, about the complexity of modern powertrains, one has to take into consideration several differentiating factors between them. Reliability, fuel efficiency, specific power output are the the net results of design... ...old monochrome computers were easier to work on than the average touch screen enabled tablet... I guess my question is, would you rather old school simplicity or new school power?

I don't know how you do that. I work in a totally different field (electronics), but I talk to and cuss out the stuff I'm working on all the time. :D

If I wanted to change the bearings, do I have to remove the entire engine block or could I leave it in, expose the front like in this video and the change the bearings??
@mikemichael91172 жыл бұрын
I get the engine hot and then remove the exhaust flanges; have to do this first, before disconnecting everything else and still can be a pain
