Always good to see a talented “Lefty” and a Lady Artist, iIve worked with lots of Southpaw Pinstriper’s like John Hannukaine, they don’t even use “ Lefty “ brushes, thank God!

Loving this newly discovered channel. Here in the UK we don't really have a tradition of pinstriping and it's nice to se the cars as we usually get wrecks being worked on or fleeting views of one's being walked past at shows

Absolutely gorgous work. I was in awe of the lettering. I know this isn't you're doing, but as a carpainter the overspray on the lower side of the right taillight bothered the hell out of me though. 7:35 Especially because of your phenomenal work.

Was waiting to see if you'd go with the classic original One Shot red & white colors. (updated with light gray which works). Old school striping (most) was not up to today's standards and talent but what I personally liked was the Script lettering, especially that cap M (which I'm going to steal and start using). That script brush looked pretty stiff & snappy.

Great work Jen, beautiful styles, may I ask what you charge for you work? I understand more intricate more money. Please give me a general base line cost. Thanks so much!

Do your fingers ever cramp after hours of this type of detail work? How far will you travel to do the type of work you prefer?
@HotRodJenPinstriping2 жыл бұрын
i only recently had a issue with my hand cramping up but that was probably bc i needed potassium. i travel as far as the customer is willing to compensate me for my time, but i normally paint within 1.5 hour range from where i live in central pa

Always impressed by your work! How is working on matte black? Do you find it harder to wipe back 1-shot (leaving residue) and removing Stabilo lines? Looking forward to part 3. Keep up the excellent work!
@HotRodJenPinstriping3 жыл бұрын
Hey thank you! As for the flat black that really all depends on how the vehicle is painted actually, I try and ask the customer how the car is painted I come across a lot that are vase coat and flat clear or are single stage flat where its safe to use mineral spirits to clean up oops. Where it gets tricky is rattle can paint jobs those are usually not friendly for cleaning up mistakes so ya just gotta try hard not to make them 😉, and as far as cleaning up stabilo as you can see I like to use dots instead of lines and my centerline I usually always cover up with paint so that makes clean up stabilo easy

Beautiful work and thank you for taking the time to document it. That freehand circle near the end seemed like a high-risk maneuver, but I guess you don't suffer from lack of confidence😉 What brushes did you use for the lettering and drop shadow?
@HotRodJenPinstriping3 жыл бұрын
Hey thank you! the lettering for the white i used a luco which wouldnt be my first choice doing it over again its one i don't use a lot no idea why i used it here lol, and for the drop shadow i just used a mack virus edition 2 size 2
