Praying 3-4 Rosaries every single day completely transformed my entire life, in ways words cannot describe. I cannot recommend it enough. If 3-4 seems too much, just start with 1 Rosary every day, you won't regret it. God bless you, and may Mother Mary keep whoever is reading this.

I can attest to what Gabi said about the Rosary helping get rid of strong vices. Since becoming a Christian around a year ago my biggest struggle was following the conviction of the Holy Spirit to quit smoking cannabis after 5 years of bondage to it through daily use. Get smart on scriptures and early church history from trusted resources like Trent Horn, Scott Hahn, Ascension Presents, Augustine institute, Bishop Barron, and the many apologists for Catholic Answers. Outside of trusted resources we can entertain small schismatic principles through our ignorance. There is no need to reinvent the wheel in the Church. My wife and I (husband posting on my wife's account) are on our fourth pregnancy. We had 3 miscarriages prior and after our 6 week ultrasound this fourth time. There was no heartbeat this time but we were told it's still early and to wait to go back at 8 weeks. Those 2 weeks and after, I prayed 4 rosaries a day like Gabi said in the last video, I prayed specifically for our baby and my wife and I prayed to Saint Catherine of Sienna as well. On our 8 week ultra sound I went to church and I did not know that is was the feast day of Saint Catherine. I knew we would get good news and I broke down in church in awe. At our ultrasound, we find a heartbeat and we find out our due date is December 8th, the immaculate conception of our Blessed Mother. Our Mother in heaven will answer your prayers when you truly show your trust in her and in our Lord.

This is probably the third or fourth time coming back to watch this video. I am a Protestant and I’ve been curious about Catholicism. I’m drawn by the beauty of the liturgy and the reverence you have for God, the Scriptures, and I felt drawn to pray the rosary. I accepted the challenge in Hallow to pray the Rosary every day in October. The two videos with Gabi started it all off. Even though my Protestant brain and upbringing are making it a little difficult to follow along I will finish this month out and report back. Update: I prayed the Rosary every single day for October, and it was life-changing. First, Hallow, their team, and the people who lead the Rosary prayers did an excellent job explaining what praying the rosary is and its history. By honoring Blessed Mary, we are ultimately honoring Jesus. Second, I have memorized and mediated more of the life of Jesus than I ever have. I feel closer to Jesus and now know His story more fully. Third, I knew little about the Blessed Mary or any Marian doctrine. Still, after the Hallow series and studying the Scriptures, specifically for Mary, I can now say she is my spiritual mother (Revelations 12). I can confirm that praying the Rosary and devoting yourself to it is like a reset for the hard drive of my heart. Devotion and spiritual alignment to God are easier and sweeter. Temptations are lessened and nullified. The spiritual darkness that creeps about at night to scare you is gone. Praying the rosary is a perfect preamble to other prayer times and is ideal for praying when you don’t know what to pray. About halfway through October, I felt drawn to attend Mass. I looked up the next holiday and my closest Basilica (Denver) and attended mass for the first time on All Saints Day. I was amazed at the beauty and holiness of the cathedral, the stained glass, and the service. Everything about mass draws you into the presence of God; mass engages all five senses in worshiping God: the bells, the pipe organ, the frankincense, the kneeling, and the consecration. Going to mass felt like I was in the waiting room of Heaven. It was beautiful and powerful, and I think about it often. One cool thing I noticed by praying the rosary was that I could understand most of the icons in the stained glass, precisely the assumption of Mary. I abstained from partaking in the Eucharist because I am a Protestant and not a confirmed Catholic, and I did not want to be disrespectful. However, watching the Eucharist happen has brought more reverence and understanding of the presence of Jesus in communion. Overall, I have learned so much, gained more understanding and reverence for God, and now hold my brothers and sisters in Catholicism in an even higher regard. Praying the rosary has blessed me deeply, a practice I will continue for the rest of my life. A deeply sacramental life and worship are beautiful, and I pray that my life and worship are beautiful.

The Hallow app was a huge factor in my conversion to Catholicism. It's how I learned to pray the Rosary which then Our Mother led me to Jesus in the Eucharist and have a deep spiritual hunger for it. Matt and Gabi, Thank you so much for lovingly addressing your Protestant viewers at the opening. As a life-long Protestant (40 years) I suddenly was inspired to start praying the Rosary about a year ago after having a visitation by Mary in a dream, where she called me to seek her out as I had been in the midst of spiritual warfare with the enemy. Since that time I carry a Rosary with me daily, pray as often as I can, and continue to use it as a central part of my spiritual life. God Bless you both for this content! And if you are Protestant, as I am, I encourage you to research the origins of the Rosary and understand, as Matt and Gabi explain here, that all of this has strong Biblical foundations AND was central to numerous holy men and women through history - so why would you not leverage it as a spiritual weapon of goodness? Don’t take my word for it, ask the Holy Spirit for discernment and He will give you the answer!

Currently I've been falling asleep while listening to a Scriptural Rosary, meditating on the Scriptures in addition to praying the decades. I had an interest in the rosary years before my conversion. I always knew that the Catholic Church was the true church even as an atheist, and never considered Protestant “denominations” when I became interested. As I started to become drawn to the idea of Jesus, I was shopping online for rosaries. I didn’t believe, but I wanted to pray it as a pious habit. I decided not to, but years later when I came to be firmly convinced, I immediately started praying it after all. For my entire life I’ve always been touched by the mention of Mary, even at my most depraved. I know without a doubt that she’s my patroness, and she snatched me up for her Son once and for all and I’ve been devoted to her and her holy rosary for 2 and a half years now. Totus Tuus Maria

Sometimes, I take them out and invite the family to pray with me. This is the first time I’ve ever thought about maybe substituting 3 of those alarm times for another rosary (I already pray a 9am rosary). The rosary without meditation is still powerful. For years I have been unable to pray the rosary because of ADD. I can't focus, I can't meditate, and just reciting words while unable to stay focused on the mystery for more than 10 seconds at a time becomes mentally painful and agonizing. My son was killed in a crash this year, and Jesus inspired me - no, compelled me - to pray the Divine Mercy everyday since then, since the state of his soul was uncertain and I have nothing but to beg for the mercy of God. To me, the Divine Mercy chaplet is the rosary for those with ADD. 😂. I believe Chris gave me the fortitude to be faithful to the DMC in order to prepare me for the rosary, but he will have to do miracles to help me focus. One of those miracles came at a really good meditation booklet I got earlier this year, the only one I've ever seen that appealed to me enough to compel my bedraggled disobedient attention. Then this video accidentally autoplayed after another one I was watching, and I think that's another part of his plan. I'm getting up the courage to try my first rosary, aside from the night before my son's funeral mass, in years. I will beg him to be faithful to keeping me faithful. But even if I can't meditate on the prayers themselves, the faithfulness in saying them draws on the infinite merits of Christ. The rosary without meditation is still powerful.

@@angied7857It does help, about one out of every three times i try it. The other two times, I'm so distracted that I forget the prayer is happening, I forget to mouth the words, I forget to move my fingers, and I'm busy planning dinner for 3 weeks from now or remembering that I forgot to take out the trash yesterday. It also has to be somebody who is a really gifted. Speaker, has a very mullifluous voice, and doesn't pray in a way that my brain interprets as cheesy. Then I can get success about One out of every three times. Scott Hahn and Bishop Barron played at 1.5 speed on hollow are the best I've found for this. I also like Mark Wahlberg on hollow, because he sounds bored and distracted, and it makes me feel at home. For real!

The whole month of May I prayed the 4 rosaries a day and offered my daily communions for the grievances for the immaculate heart of Mary I tried going everyday. The whole month the blessed mother was really helping me with purity and I had a really healing confession and retreat. On the 31st of May when I went to recieve communion I seen myself as the heavenly Father sees me: as a little girl going up to receive communion in my first Holy Communion dress and I felt His love. We had addoration right after the mass ended and I began praying in tongues for the first time 😅 it was amazing the Blessed Mother is so beautiful and generous!!! I absolutely disagree. There have been miracles from God through rosary beads. The devil flees from it. By holding it, holding medals, you give glory to God and convert people, spark conversations etc. It also helps with temptations to hold these things and have them on you. I really don't think it's got anything to do with "look at me, I'm so good" - at least not for most people.
@marycox25306 ай бұрын
I also think it takes a lot of humility to do this. People stare at these things, they find it all odd, you stand out and that's really hard. So it shows humility when I see people holding rosaries whilst walking down the street. I think - that person is brave! They love Mary! This is an awesome thing

@@marycox2530I agree with you, it takes humility and courage for a Catholic. At least in large secular cities in North America, people look at you weird, a Muslim or Sikh dressing differently is more accepted. When I became vegan people was cool with it, but when I casually commented I went back to church people were really worried about my mental health, some people asked me if I was ok. if I started walking around with a rosary people will freak out 😂. Even a Christian wearing a cross is fine, but when you show the Virgin Mary then you are into idolatry. I guess it might be different in a large Catholic country in Latin America.

This was a wonderful interview and discussion, and I am always moved by Gabi's talks on the Rosary. I am not one who gets "tunnel vision" on YT videos, but when Gabi spoke in the last two videos you did (including this one), I felt (a) as if he is talking directly to me at times, and (b) as if there is a real force and depth to his words. I humbly believe that Our Lady is absolutely using him to evangelize and bear witness in a cogent yet accessible way. We are blessed to be able to hear him speak about these things. In closing, this video has inspired me to do the Novena of the entire Rosary (so 4 per day for 9 days) to get clarity about a very serious, long-term problem in my family life which has been a very heavy cross to bear. Thank you, Matt and Gabi! God bless you and keep you!

As devout as I am, I seldom prayed the rosary or only did so in October. So, I made a commitment to do at least a daily rosary. My commute to work is long, so after praying the Joyous Mysteries, I kept on to the next mysteries as so on. Wow! My spiritual life has gone to such a different level since I started praying the rosary daily…all mysteries. I don’t think I can ever go backwards. I have always been blessed with a strong Catholic faith and life of prayer, so I still can’t believe how Our Lady truly brings us closer to Jesus by the recitation of the simplest prayer. God bless you all! Pray the rosary!

I’ve struggled with scrupulosity for a long time, as a Pentecostal and as well a new convert to the Catholic faith. The consolation I get praying the rosary really helps me when meditating in the mysteries. It started off as a novelty, and perhaps God did give me signal graces, and then I fell off of it. Only praying it randomly from time to time. I still am on that track, but I’m a weak man and I feel called to pray it, perhaps by God or perhaps by the influence of content creators who I see advocating for it. Either way whenever I do pray it, there is peace.

I never feel much at all when praying. 🤷♀️ Charismatics tend to talk a lot about the feelings. That is nice. But I rarely feel anything. It doesn’t mean you aren’t doing something right, or aren’t “holy” enough. Be obedient. don’t worry about the feelings. Feelings come and go, and can be manipulated by demons. Just pray. I like the rosary, 16-18 minutes meditating on the mysteries, the Catholic church actually states we should spend the bare minimum of 15 minutes a day praying. so the rosary is a great amount of time. Thanks Gabi! Love your energy about the rosary! It helped inspire me to say it.
