Not an experienced, safe driver. No need for all that clutch abuse and the rolling backwards* is a big no no which can be prevented. Listening to the rpm's and looking at the actual motion when his foot is off the clutch indicates that he is not even in the lowest gear. * Pinzgauers have a hand throttle so you can accelerate while having one foot on the clutch and the other on the brake to prevent that rolling backwards which is not only unsafe but bad for the vehicle.

@@ramiretz Thanks so much.I am very much in love with the toughness of these terrain trucks and their engineering. I really got to know the capabilities of these trucks and the high stress under which they could work but still get the work done somewhat "difficult but easy " in the most difficult and toughest rainy terrains of Seria Leone 🇸🇱 when I was on a mission with these beasts in 2009.It was adventurous and fun to watch if you're a trucks lover.

@@edemjohnson.k.mensah7513 I am very glad u like them, as an Austria product we have them of course in our army, and when I was a soldier I had enough time to drive them around and know there capability.... As you say they can go nearly everywhere... As a mechanic I can also tell you you can repair them also everywhere if something is failing which is very rare.... Everything is very easy and serviceable build

Pinzgauer is based on same spinal tube concept as Tatra trucks (same designer Hans Ledwinka). To my taste the Pinzgauer overall concept is not balanced enough. Weak engine, extreme frame height makes it wow machine, but where it can hardly climb Tatra can bring 6+ tons of load. What is an "art of driving" for Pinzgauer driver is just the daily routine for Tatra. Nice fun car anyway.
@china22s6 жыл бұрын
The designer was Erich Ledwinka (Steyr´s chief designer). Hans was his father, who also worked at Steyr and Tatra but couple of years earlier, before Pinzgauer was designed by Erich.

Typically these "tour operators" aren't professional Pinz drivers. They buy a gimmicky truck online to lure tourists. Half of these people probably don't even know low range exists...
