Mages like me actually like building haste and using items like TimeWarp. As Gideon I like to deal out my abilities more often, even if they do less damage. I build mana regen over increasing my pool, as sometimes I stay in the field longer and dont want to find myself out/low or have to base only because im out of mana. Ill also use it on Kwang, so I can keep dishing out my combos fast and dont run out of mana quickly while doing so. In both instances im always eating up mana, and sometimes quickly, so regen makes more sense for players like me who would rather hit softer but hit more often and stay in the fight longer.

I think as a mage it is really important to be able to manage your mana, and still you can use your basic attack a lot to clear waves. I used to build haste too, but I realized it makes more sense to me to improve my ability landing skills and when I land them, it impacts much harder. Also as a mid laner, I think your jungler being able to show up in correct times can help with mana management. Once your counterpart has to back, you could easily freeze minions under your tower and do basic attack. Maybe I am wrong, but this is what I do

In Paragon, the alternate ability would reflect direct to the sender no matter where you were aiming when pressing the button. People would also ult get all the projectiles and use the alternative ability to reflect all damage back to the sender.

It’s basically just a little bit longer than auto range, think like a few hero steps past auto range. A lot of mages abilities are right around auto range. Howi of course as you mentioned, but youcan also build it on gadget for sticking her hat on someone and walking away, iggy with his Molotov, or Argus and throw his stun ball (this would be a little iffy building on Argus but the other 3 are all solid options for the item). I guess you could also build on dekker if you’re playing her mid for some reason, maybe also shinbi with her wolf she throws out but have never tried that and don’t know its range.

Everyone has individual cool downs for the teleporter. But Ace said if the enemy is on the teleporter, it wont charge but he never said anything about teammates so maybe.

I like Gideon but it's too easy to jump through his portal, perhaps if they adjusted his ability that if you were an enemy and you jump through the portal you would take 10% increase damage for a certain period of time
