well there you go. that's what I need. would have thought the radio had the function to allow mirroring built in. but good to see there is an option for those like me or in my position. best help I've gotten since buying radio. thank you!!!

just bought one of these for 239 from onlinecarstereo.com Ive had headunits from every major mfg. including low end garbage like boss, and pioneer hands down is always the best. From the fit and finish to the user interface and display pioneer is head and shoulders above the rest. This is replacing a shitty kenwood touchscreen. Kenwoods buttons and display/menus look cheap and feel cheap. Alpine is nice but the fact that most units dont allow you to change the stupid blue illumination sucks. I have a nice car, i dont want it to look like some high school kids riced out civic. When will a mfg. make a classy oem looking headunit?

I have done the appradioone that is garbage. 2700bs doesn't have hdmi or I would try mini usb to hdmi. I just thought I could mirror the phone screen to the radio like other units. not just for video for all phone applications.

Todd fortune well I have another option is it made by boss audio here is a video I have done on that kzbin.info/www/bejne/rnPKYp1pjc6XptE its not fool proof but it does mirror your phone unfornuately you can only control everything from the phone. but it will mirror on the screen.

Hello it is possible the parking brake wire isn't ground ed allowing certain menu functions to not be highlighted of that wire needs to be grounded after the radio is turned on

marlon hyacinth Hello, You have to format your videos to mpeg-4/'h.264 with linear pcm as audio codec with a resolution of 640x360 with a maximum fps of 30 and each file no more than 2 gb this is from the manual seemed like everytime I went to format a video to play on pioneer it took several tries playing with bitrates and the format to get it to play, so prepared to make a couple of trips back and forth, to get it just right.
