It is so hard to find anyone out there that has a video of any CDJ-trickery. Thanks for this. I just traded my MK1s out for MK3s so that I can finally play around with a less-latent platter/cue/etc. and now I have a good video example of just some of the opportunities the MK3s will get me over the MK1s. Please post more as you come up with them! Thanks!

Top video guys! I prefer to watch the vid's from people who have tried it and worked it out themselves opposed to the ones that Pioneer put out themselves. Cheers!

You can also do this on other CDJ's/Digital Media players as well. As long as they have Que and reverse functions, in fact timecoded into Traktor these players are 10x more powerful for these applications and scratching due to Traktors built in recording function. Still interesting vid and even though I'm a Trance DJ and don't do this all that much I still learned some new tricks ;)

@IIChangEII Yes mate- MacBook Pro £1500/ Windows Laptop £500 NI Audio 2/4/8 £70-300 TP 2 £155 So even if you get the top of the range of all of the above, it comes to £2000. Still FAR less than two CDJ's with LESS functionality. Plus the laptop can be used for other things eg music production. (Y)

@DJKKRAFT I have no pioneers but I think it's logical if you are scratching and you have you hand on the touch sensitive plate, it will reset the cue point but if you let it go then it won't I thinhk. Please Excuse me if i'm wrong;)

Cool as hell, and inspiring!! But i can't do the cue scratch thing, because the cdj is totally bugging out on that one... I tried it on cdj 2000 nxs, its like it's moving the cue point, don't respond every time i press the cue button etc..
@Djtonydraper9 жыл бұрын
Mine does the same shit.. The cue keeps moving on me. I know this is an old post but have you ever been able to figure out what the problem with that was ?
