These usually don't come with cables to hook up to that kind of speaker (your small one), since most users would connect to an amplifier or an active speaker (containing an amplifier) using a 2x RCA male - 2x RCA male (the red/white kind) or even an xlr-cable. For the jog-wheel/tempo thing: it's best to use your left hand (you could also do it with your right hand) to nudge the track forward on the left side of the jogwheel and not the right. Scratching is best done via the top-plate and also holding the left side of the 'virtual-record' if that makes sense. Imaging them being actual vinyls in which you don't want to mess up the needle position (some would rotate their turntable 90 degrees but that's just a side-note)

I managed to figure out how to plug in speakers without needing midi cables so that worked out nice, and ya I feel like that would probably be a better alternative to do that with the jog wheels when it comes to scratching or beat matching, but I will be still trying to figure things out slowly but surely lol !!

any controller is a good controller !! in the end , all controllers are the same no matter what you use. CDJ's are bigger but at the end of the day using any controller will train you to use professional standard club mixers. Hope this helps!

WHOO !! Glad you came to visit my channel! I am gonna be posting a short mix within the next week or so on here !! Yes if you are starting out and this is your first controller, STICK TO THE BASICS !! Just learn how to beat match, adjusting the pitch fader without having to look at your screen, try looking away until you are done adjusting the jog wheel and pitch fader then only look after you are finished adjusting to see how well you did. Then I would add in Cue points to every single song. I would add a cue point right on the first beat of a song, one on the verse and one on a chorus/hook for easier mixing. Hope this helps !!! No prob !! I currently am getting my music from this site called "DJ City" Most DJ's use that site if they are in clubs/lounges. That one is 30 dollars a month, but to start out if you are on a budget I would recommend "Digital DJ Pool". I have been using that for a couple years before I was ready to move on to a better quality pool. That pool definitely is a good one though for beginners ! It is approx. 12 dollars a month for that one. Hope this helps!

I used traktor for about 3 or 4 years before switching to serato. I have the ddj-sx2 as well. You're going to love it. I like serato much better than traktor for many different reasons. By the way you don't get any speaker cables with the controller. One more thing make sure that your all of your songs are mp3 files not windows media file. I had to convert a lot of my files. Nice video by the way.

yep it will break if you press down its for a keyboards thats way to heavy whats holding on the keyboard is little rollers move it and put it on the desk get a portable hard drive a 2 TB or a 8TB your laptop will start lagging SOON when your hard drive gets to hot

hey girl.. hang tough great purchase... Buy some XLR cables and u can use them for your studio monitors or powered speakers. I also own a DDJSX2 I use serato. I do alot of gigs using the DDJSX2 and it's dope. it's a very good unit..u can learn alot using the SX2 also Serato is a more pure D.J. program for my opinion.. meantime play around and practice learn learn learn.... have fun...your friend in the mix D.J.FIFTYCAL ON THE ONES AND TWOS... go online to Guitar Center or walk in o a Sam Ash etc. and ask some questions. about XLR cables

Hey, i have the same mixer and no there's no cable for the speakers coming with the mixer. The SX2 is an professional mixer and you'll have fun :D But in these price categories and professional level it is normal that there's no cable for the speaker :)
