Almost 2 years later and they're sold out and extremely hard to get. 6 months waiting list. I'm very happy that my NXS2's still are like brand new almost 6 years old. Played on the 3000's for the first time a couple of weeks ago, and I didn't think I'd be that impressed, but man... What many don't understand about the top-of-the-line Pioneer gear is about is the feeling of how everything works. They succeed every gen to make the buttons and jog wheel smoother but yet more distinct in a way that can only be described as luxurious. And the build quality... Without the CD I believed it would be lighter, but not at all. It's massive. Knowing how the other 2000's are constructed inside, these are most likely even more protected with the CD mechanism out of the way. I know how people in general talk price and that hey are too expensive. As a Pioneer gear user for almost 30 years, I can tell that talking cost is much more interesting, and I'd be surprised if there's any gear out there cheaper to own than a couple of CDJ-3000's/2000NXS2's and a DJM-900NSX2 mixer. Especially if you get a used setup in good condition with the initial price drop of 15-20%. As the situation are for the moment with long waiting times for everything pro gear, I should probably try to sell my own gear to get the most money possible out of it. 6 years old I think I'd get a pretty big chunk back from my initial investment. Still no signs of wear and tear. I wonder what the cost/hour would be in my case. Pretty cheap I'd guess.

This is by far the best video on the cdj3000 on youtube, great job! Pioneer will always be the apple of the dj market even if dennon has more features and cost less. If you have pioneer you know it works great, rekordbox 👍 and aesthetically its unmatched. I was about to buy an XDJ XZ but after this video I decided to wait for hopefully soon a standalone model with this screen.
@BlueHawk803 жыл бұрын
I had Pioneer CDJs and DDJs for years and my current Denons work just as great, have better quality, more features and lower prices. The XZ looks sexy but I am really upset they missed so many features to really improve it, like the 9" screen, options for SD and Sata, longer beatjumps than just 8 and a smaller footprint. For $2300 it is overpriced, same for the new CDJ. But AlphaTetha is milking their loyal users...

Pioneer wants to get away from CDs, which makes perfect sense in 2020. Its a very cool deck but I would prefer a deck like the Denon SC 6000M over this one, just a personal preference motorized platters, feature packed and has a lower price.

Pioneer was not trying to reinvent the wheel, they wanted to improve what is by far the club-standard DJ system. I believe they did just that with the CDJ3000. I'm certain a lot of Denon lovers will frown on their approach but as a few Denon DJs said that is a matter of preference. I get that. I learned on Pioneer so I am for any improvement that will allow me to have fun with DJing. That's what matters.

I have a pair of 1210 mk2 and a pair of nexus 2000 wouldn’t look anywhere else for DJ equipment.. These players are a good gimmick with all these functions.. at the end of the day they play music.Why anyone would pay over £4000 to have these in there bedroom is beyond me... maybe a good upgrade to a club system sound wise dunno.Will make playing infront of an audience more efficient I’m sure.. ie quicker load speeds, more real estate on screen.. All in all subtle differences are what touring and top DJ’s want I reckon.

Looking sweet, but way too expensive. Compared to their strong competition since 2017, they should have either implemented some more features or set a price of about 1800-1900, not $2300. I don't care much anyway, had been using CDJs for 10 years, switched to the superior Denon Primes, couldn't be more happier! But each for their own :)

Too expensive. Industry standard is subjective. If you have 10 people in a room club or bedroom, 7 people with a controller and 3 with a modular setup. Then what is industry standard? DJing is the industry and we as the consumer are a part of that industry, so there is no industry standard as such. You could say that the Pioneer Nexus is a popular choice in the clubs but not industry standard.

I am more a producer than Dj but I do like all those new gears that come out and follow news and its funny to watch all reviews saying the same formula its like Pioneer paid those reviews. So its for big events and clubs it can be downgrade compare to SC6000 and costs a lot more? Its so stupud excuse for that price it should have all what SC6000 and more. We really need to push Denon more into the big clubs and events because we all will benefit from that the better competition the better products will be for us regual consumer if we will still pray Pioneer for everything they will be still put half the products and charge just for label on it.
