You can save loops and do the same looping features for the most part between rekordbox and Serato software live and on the fly. They are accessed a little differently, but accomplish the same things. I am not 100% sure though that I am answering the right question here for you. 2 downside for me with the controller. Is it doesn't have needles scratch & beach loop is a bit awkward with other controllers like my previous controller Pioneer djs1 It was simple. I've only had this controller about a week. OP My brother give me a reason why the controller is decent & why I should keep it

If you use Djay Pro 2 on DDj1000srt, just upgrade to DJay AI for free as features from Djay 2 like automix is inluded. Don't bother using Djay Pro 2 on this mixer as it's buggy with the ch 1 & 2.
