So did you time stretch that or is it normal on the timeline? How many of those do you have? Have you heard Edan beauty and the beat?

Hi great video ! Do you know if the click of the metronome can be heard only into the headphones during live performances (not on the main output) ? Thank you :)

It's a really nice device, but my fundamental problem is: I can just do this in ableton (a lot easier), export it maybe with a bunch of hot cues and drop it on a normal deck in any club.

The angle I come from with all the standalone sampler/sequencers I deal with on this channel is to promote the standalone side of music production. I personally find making music in Ableton pretty sterile. I think the easiness and quickness you mention is the issue, or at least are the factors that make the experience less intimate and lacking in soul. Like a lot of things these days, people want quick results and an easier ride - but is it a better product or experience?Pushing a mouse around is a completely different experience to programming an actual instrument and the journey and its results (for me at least) are much more rewarding. Saying that, I have never owned Push or Push 2 so maybe that would fill the gap for me.

@@TUBEDIGGA True dat. I've also never had a push, but I have a lot of midi mappings and the knobs and buttons do make a difference. Maybe it's my workflow of getting the samples for the DJS1K, since I have to go to ableton to do that anyway. Maybe resampling stuff from the same set from the CDJs directly would work better. Basically the reason why I watched your video today is that I'm trying to figure out a better way to use this. If I can't, I'm just gona replace it with an other CDJ,

My workflow is to build my song in Abelton, render the loops (sections), then break them apart and scatter them around in the DJS1000. Everyone''s workflow is different which is why this really helps me. It's slower for me to extract the individual pieces from Ableton along with the loops.This video helps me out a lot.

How long until you start working on mpc live vids again?
@TUBEDIGGA6 жыл бұрын
Soon, I’m trying to work out a way to get an X so I can also cover modular synthesis.
@PNM_796 жыл бұрын
TUBE DIGGA does that mean you'll be selling the Live to get the X? I have the Live and your tutorials are really helpful.
