This is the first time ive seen in depth what this machine can do. It's actually really awesome seeing what it can do. And it's standalone, which makes making music so much more intuitive. Not with a mouse and keyboard trying to jump around a million screens trying to make something little by little. this you can just jump straight into it.

DJ Sneak this was dope! I finally understand how to maneuver with it, awesome example! It appears the DJS-1000 works similar to vintage psychical drum machines where everything needed is on board. I was playing around with one in Guitar Center last year but I didn't really understand what I was doing or how to get sounds to record in a pattern. DJS-1000 looks more fun than using Maschine Studio. Ableton is effective but the fun aspect is sucked out of the process when using it.

Great question, I like it. Have a look at the design, its ugly, you don't where to look. This will give you a clue to what the work flow is like. This sampler is voted poorly as 'the best samplers of 2020', I think not for the design but for all its other down falls. Go back to bed, wonder no more.
@Heathcliff_hensel4 жыл бұрын
MPC's are better for being the brain of your studio but these Pioneer samplers are really fun and sound great.
@ablack94314 жыл бұрын
It looks a lot more creative to use, I had the Live and felt it’s trying to be more than what it is. I like that this has the step sequencer under the pads too rather than having to use a touch screen.
@Drrolfski4 жыл бұрын
@@ablack9431 Ableton Push 2 does literally everything shown in the video and then a whole lot more. So DJS-1000's workflow really has to blow the competition out of the water to even stand up against juggernauts of the likes like Akai MPC (Live), NI Maschine and Ableton Push2 .

They need to add Ableton link and lengthen the sequencer from 4 bars to 8 bars. 4 bars is to short for a musical idea. It gets too loopy too quick. It will get boring after 4 bars or if there is a way to half the time possibly. 4 bars is just too short musically.
