HI please advise , i have a DEH,X8700BT, Ive i want to use the direct woofer with no amp , when switching from full range speakers to SW , Then back to main menu there is no sound in the rear only front and i have no fad control , please help

It is possible to operate a small subwoofer on the rear speaker output directly from a Pioneer in-dash receiver. Please note: This is a connection to the rear speaker outputs and not the RCA outputs. I recognize model numbers DEH-X8700BS and DEH-X8700BH. Please be sure to check the model number of your Pioneer in-dash receiver. The instructions below are for the two models shown above. You should be connecting the receiver's Purple, and Purple/Black speaker output wires directly to a small subwoofer. The Green and Green/Black should be properly terminated so they don't come in contact with any other wires or metal in the vehicle. Owner's manual page 21. You can learn more about wiring your receiver in this Pioneer How To video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oYOVfoJooNx5q8k In the receiver's Initial Setup S/W Control settings choose SP:SW. This will mean the front speaker outputs are full range and the rear speaker output is subwoofer. When using this setting, No Fader Control will be available. This is normal operation. This is because you choose to change the system from Front/Rear output to the new setting of Front and Subwoofer output. The subwoofer output has an independent level control. In the Audio Settings Menu, be sure to switch the Subwoofer 1 setting to Normal or Reverse. Owner's manual page 19. And in Subwoofer 2 choose an LPF crossover setting. I recommend to start with 80Hz and an output level of 0. When in network mode, can all the crossovers be turned off? Id rather use the ones on my amplifer.

It depends upon the receiver. What is the model number of your Pioneer in-dash receiver? Please note, If you are going to switch all the crossovers off, all you have done is set up 3 full range RCA outputs. Again depending upon the receiver, you may be able to do that with Standard Mode. Please be sure to switch the Subwoofer output on in the audio menu. Also, when you set this up, be aware of the outputs you'll use to hear Bluetooth phone calls in your vehicle. This changes with Standard or Network mode. I have a Pioneer DEH-X7800BHS in my Mk4 Jetta , I got it all connected, it works just fine but when I turn the car off all the settings reset, besides the Bluetooth connection with my phone(that stays). I also have a subwoofer and the power light from the sun stays always on but I can hear the sub starting when I turn the ignition on because it pops once(which I don’t know if it should). Your receiver is wired incorrectly. If your clock and radio stations reset each time you start your vehicle, the in-dash receiver may have an improper connection for the Yellow Wire. The Yellow Wire must have constant power from the vehicle. This means if the vehicle is switched on or switched off, the yellow wire should measure at ~12 volts. The Red Wire is for accessory. You can view the red wire as the receiver’s on/off switch. The red wire should measure ~ 12 volts only when the vehicle is switched on. ---Do not connect the Red Wire and Yellow Wire together. --- Please take a look at this video for more information on wiring your Pioneer in-dash receiver: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oYOVfoJooNx5q8k The subwoofer is also wired incorrectly. If the subwoofer is staying on when the vehicle is off, it will kill the vehicle's battery. What is the model number of your Pioneer subwoofer? @@pioneerelectronics I'll check them again! Do you think not storing the setting could also be because my radio antenna is not connected to the actual radio? The subwoofer is a different brand, it's not Pioneer...

@@IzzYChannel I believe the issue is the yellow wire. The yellow wire should have power when the vehicle is off and when it's on. Do not connect Red and Yellow together. Please note, the AM/FM radio will not tune in any stations at all if you don't have an antenna connected to the receiver. How do you turn network mode off
