This video saved a Pioneer sale. I bought this radio ONLY because the app. This radio looks SUPER cheap and the display is one of Pioneers worst. BUT, it has all the NEX audio pack for 150 bucks less than the 80PRS. I tried and tried to connect the app to the phone with no luck. This video was the key. Thanks for your time putting this together. It was very helpful SIr!

It should work via BT. Be sure to use the settings similar to those shown in the video above.

Many Pioneer models have USB and AUX input including, Pioneer DEH-X6800BS, the Pioneer DEH-X6900BT, the Pioneer MVH-X580BS, the Pioneer DEH-X7800BHS, and the Pioneer DEH-X8800BHS. I'm not sure what you mean by concert hall sound effect, however, Pioneer MIXTRAX is available on all models listed above.

The Pioneer ARC App is compatible with selected Android phones operating the Android OS version 4.1 up to 7.1.2. The phone must also support AOA (Android Open Accessory) version 2.0. Ultimately the compatibility depends upon the individual smartphone. Please note, some Android based devices will connect via AOA 2.0 but may not work properly or emit sounds due to the phones software design regardless of the OS version. Geez Marie!!!! I just want basic Bluetooth capabilities!!! Like see/answer(or not) my incoming phone calls, autoplay my playlist from my Android, and set my illumination bright enuf to see the other menus!!! Somehow I bumped the dial and Android music won't play automatically when I'm in the car. All those settings are great, i guess, but you lost me 1 minute into audio settings tutorial. Do you have a PIONEER BLUETOOTH SETUP MANUAL FOR "DUMMIES" hardcopy or SHORT UTUBE TUTORIAL?? ...It was working so good after installation (by someone else), I'm not using it at all AND I NEED IT FOR TRAFFIC SANITY. Display is so dim.....HELP!!

I have the DEH-X7800DAB & I cannot seem to get it to work properly, connection errors, no functions. Can anyone offer me some advice

Please be sure to install the latest firmware for your Pioneer DEH-X7800DAB. You can find it here: www.pioneer.com.au/shop/uncategorized/deh-x7800dab/ I recommend to delete all phones from the in-dash receiver's Bluetooth memory and to reset the receiver. You can see this on a similar Pioneer receiver here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eXjVmmpunt-DsKM Next I recommend to press the microprocessor reset button. You'll need a paperclip or some other small point to press the microprocessor reset button. You can find the microprocessor reset button on the Pioneer DEH-X7800DAB behind the detachable face near the center of the receiver. You can see it here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iXylYoeumaeFfZI Next delete the receiver from your phone's Bluetooth memory and restart your phone. Next start the phone Bluetooth pairing process from the beginning. Please be sure your phone is not connected to another device like a headset or portable speaker. This can block the receiver from connecting. This app does not work at all. I've got the DEH-X8700BT and i've tried using both usb and bluetooth for connecting to Samsung s7, s8, s9 and s9+ and none of these devices will connect to the arc app. It gives me connection error when i try, and tells me to press the band button to try again. BT works well otherwise, but the app control is just a dead feature wich i paid too much for.

The ARC app is not working on your in-dash receiver because the Pioneer DEH-X8700BT was NOT designed to work with the Pioneer ARC App. There is no mention of the Arc App on the Pioneer Europe Web site for this model.
