This is overall a well-done doc about an unremembered giant. The contributions of the current heirs are well appreciated. So many topic, so little time. Here are two more elements worthy of elaboration--first being his long time leadership of various agrarian organizations along with his oft associating with the fledgling worker groups and parties, thus the Bernie Sanders comparison. Also, consider him an early model for the Humphries, Latimers, Wellstones and Walzes who all had this in common -- young liberals who moved from another state and learned to know Minnesota and Minnesotans, earn their trust and respect if not always sharing political beliefs. (Heck, throw in Rudy Boschwitz for all those attributes, except for the embarrassingly liberal part.)

Also, the Francis Bacon-Shakespeare theory is one that is quite popular. And it makes a lot of sense.

That Populist movement definitely pissed off some Rockefellers.

I’m not exactly sure how but I know he is one of my ancestors. He looks exactly like every man in my family, and he is a Donnelly. It seems you went out of your way to discredit him.
