It rips me up and disgusts me knowing how poorly the natives were treated. When I hear native music it is so beautiful it brings me to tears. The oppression and attempted destruction of native culture is unforgivable and im so grateful there are natives that are preserving and teaching their traditions to help them survive. Keep fighting because you are all worth it. Your culture is amazing and beautiful and deserves to be learned and shared and preserved. Your children's children's children and beyond will be grateful to you for it. Blessings.

Remember. Our elders raised leaders. This environment was harsh and are warring tribes showed no mercy. That’s why they raised leaders. And for that reason that’s why the US military took from their teachings and tactics. The Rangers took from us natives raiding tactics. That’s why special forces have the arrow head and the lightenings on their unit patch.
